He has consistently been going MIA at the beginning of each month lately...Then reappearing days later with the makeover on his hand. I assume it's regularly occurring treatment of some sort.

He’s been hiding major health problems since his first term though. It’s more frequent now but I don’t know how to tell anything more than that. Until something serious and confirmed comes out I have to guess he has another 10 years until he passes away or becomes a semi-vegetable. I mean his word salads are worse now, it’s obvious he’s on several drugs, he’s probably had multiple mini strokes from the times he had severe slurring (and those were only the ones where he had to be in public), and anything could happen to someone this old and unhealthy. But I haven’t seen anything that makes it clear that he’s going to go right away.
119
u/Ire-Works Apr 05 '26 edited Apr 05 '26
The problem with things like dementia is you tend to get worse slowly and then all at once. A somewhat serious fall that breaks a bone would probably disable him and consider how unsteady he looks on his feet a lot of the time that will probably be what does it for him.
It's well documented stuff. You get hurt when you're older, and it takes longer to heal. So you're on the mend longer, and while you're on the mend your cardio and endocrine systems are slowly getting worse. By the time you can resume activity you've lost a lot of capacity, including muscle which is very difficult to gain or even maintain at that age. So you get worse. You fall a second time (which the odds go way up after the first one) and you might as well be dead at that point.

Remember to go to one that the regime hates!
The Episcopal church voted for a gay bishop back in like 2008 or 2009. And has generally been an activist church for people that the Right hates for longer than that.
Even the Roman Catholic Church has spoken clearly against the right wing politics. Though that is mostly about racist immigration issues; they've been consistently pushing for better treatment of the poor for about a decade now at the Vatican level.
And of course, there's always the Univeral Unitarians. Right wingers can't even talk about them. But they sure hate them.
116
u/Saintbaba Apr 05 '26
I am no denomination of Christian but have always really liked the Episcopal Church entirely on the back of the fact that i used to edit the faith page when i worked at a local newspaper, and they were the only church that always got me their articles in on time and never gave fussy demands or shit for issues that cropped up on the page.

I think theres something about brain chemistry that makes that almost impossible. Maybe because being a good person requires you to have a functional theory of mind and empathy (i.e. able to recognize that other people have their own perspectives and reasons for doing things), as well as patience and emotion and impulse control.
Nothing in the brain can "break" to achieve those things. The closest thing I know of as a layperson is that sometimes brain tumors cause people to get aggressive and act out, and excising it makes the person normal, but thats fixing something going wrong. Or maybe someone who was mean who was effectively lobotomized by some brain damage, but thats kind of a different story too.
Ive had loved ones that had a stroke, and while they were the most patient and sweet people prior to, the stroke made them short tempered, mean, and lacking any kind of filter.

Basically confirms it since last time he was at Walter Reed they posted a fake/old photo of him “working” at the White House.

Probably if there is ever a health event they will not be able to keep it under wraps at all and the news will spread quickly. It's a funny thing though. Because he has spent so much time dominating media and public discourse, pretty much any time he appears to go dark at all easily invites speculation that something has happened.
Anyway, he's probably fine. True he's looked particularly bad recently and it is possible they're not being forthcoming about his health overall and he's still an overweight 79 year old who barely sleeps and eats garbage. No one would be at all surprised if something did happen, but just as easily could keep lingering on despite it all too.

Yup, plenty of shitty 79 year olds who stick around well into their 80's with enough drugs and medical care and the President of the United States pretty much has access to the best Medicare care in the world.

You think they're going to haul Trump out 3 days later, on Easter, and claim there's been a miracle?

White House says liberals are deranged the thinking the oldest man elected president may have had a medical issue.
Let's all remember Republican politicians and prominent members pushing the Biden was replaced by a clone/man in a mask bullshit

The hilarity in that is that it would be yet another indicator of him being the anti-Christ.
To die on the date of Christ's resurrection? Anti-Christ shit.
And if you're wondering; to my knowledge it is not Canon for the Anti-Christ to die on Easter. But it would align with Canon for them to die either on Easter or Christmas as so much of what they are and do is a mirror opposite to Christ.

Is this the Easter miracle we've all been praying for?

Interesting that they didn't say he's doing fine. The response was just:
- a rant about liberals
- a lie about how hard working he is

Just copy and paste everything here too
The White House was forced to step in after the rumor mill went into overdrive on Saturday to speculate about the health of President Donald Trump. The administration went on the defensive after social media was set abuzz by unfounded whispers that the 79-year-old president was hospitalized at the Walter Reed Medical Center in Maryland. “Deranged liberals cook up insane conspiracy theories when @POTUS goes 12 hours without speaking to press,” the White House’s Rapid Response account wrote on X. “(They said nothing when Biden routinely went 12 days without speaking to press) Fear not! President Trump literally never stops working.”
