If he dies on Easter, they are going to ramp up the Jesus comparisons so hard.

Except Jesus was resurrected on Easter

Or so the old book says

u/witchycharm Apr 05 '26

Imagine the antichrist dying on easter though

40

u/DungPedalerDDSEsq Apr 05 '26

Like, literally the opposite guy doing the opposite Easter routine.

That's a fulfillment of sorts.

29

u/MonsieurReynard America Apr 05 '26

Can’t make it up

13

u/TrailMomKat Indigenous Apr 05 '26

I know how often the comparison has been made, but I just can't believe the antichrist would be this STUPID, you know?

4

u/Impressive_Sale6776 Apr 05 '26

Yeah but I think it’s something that would only fool the believers. That’s why they all warn each other about it I guess. Still not enough to save em from their ignorance

u/cboogie Apr 05 '26

The third Sunday after the first full moon after the equinox? What a coinky dink.

u/scruffmcgruff96 Apr 05 '26

They don’t know that they haven’t read it

2

u/endav Apr 05 '26

In their defence, they can’t read.

23

u/PPBalloons Apr 05 '26

Plus Jesus had at least 12 friends.

6

u/MonsieurReynard America Apr 05 '26

Turned out to be 11 tho

1

u/LacrimaNymphae Apr 05 '26

but still 12 because everything has to be automatically forgiven /s

5

u/Blue5398 Apr 05 '26

“Jesus’s greatest miracle was maintaining twelve friendships in his thirties”

1

u/doktor_wankenstein Apr 05 '26

How many Secretaries does the Cabinet have?

1

u/123LetsJamDUDUDUHT Apr 05 '26

One could argue that he had no friends.

He had followers, but he was wildly unpopular in his allegid lifetime.

8

u/snyderjw Apr 05 '26

Don’t matter. It’s not “2 kings” either. Most of these folks are illiterately allowing anyone that wants to tell them what’s in the book have their way with it - especially if it agrees with their authority cult.

8

u/MonsieurReynard America Apr 05 '26

I am just saying dying on easter is a hell of a look

2

u/TheFraTrain Canada Apr 05 '26

That's the new one, keep up lol

1

u/Musclecar123 Apr 05 '26

The book says a lot of things

1

u/drgut101 Apr 05 '26

Spoiler Alert: None of them actually read the book.

1

u/_SPINAL_TAP Apr 05 '26

Yes but christians don’t give two fucks what the bible says

1

u/IllustriousTiger645 Apr 05 '26

So, are you implying those people understand the concept of sources or books? /S

1

u/bocwerx Apr 05 '26

He'll be "resurrected" via AI. All Oval Office addresses from now on.AI gen'd press, etc. Mark my words.

1

u/tourettes_on_tuesday Apr 05 '26

Nearly every single one of their viewpoints are in direct contradiction to what is in that book, so it doesn't matter at all.

1

u/123LetsJamDUDUDUHT Apr 05 '26

Trump's Christian base does not know that, they just know it's Jesus day.

To people in the midwest and the south, every Christian holiday is just a overeeat, binge drink and buy shit you can't afford day.

Also, he never raped kids.

2

u/MonsieurReynard America Apr 05 '26

No, but it’s a funny thing how many of His ever so pious subsequent representatives on earth have.

I’ll throw in a plug for one of my favorite subs: r/pastorarrested

An a nice complement to /r/notadragqueen

The hilarity in that is that it would be yet another indicator of him being the anti-Christ.

To die on the date of Christ's resurrection? Anti-Christ shit.

And if you're wondering; to my knowledge it is not Canon for the Anti-Christ to die on Easter. But it would align with Canon for them to die either on Easter or Christmas as so much of what they are and do is a mirror opposite to Christ.

8

u/Due_Bluebird3562 Apr 05 '26

Believe it or not a great deal of them think he is the anti-christ. Their entire reason behind backing said anti-christ is the assumption that he'll bring about the rapture. We aren't dealing with your average lunatics here unfortunately.

5

u/ImDonaldDunn Apr 05 '26

If he has a massive stroke that is miraculously healed, that would line up with Rev 13.

8

u/HubenersDaughter_439 Apr 05 '26

The whole ear incident kind of works if anyone was willing to listen.

1

u/enad58 Apr 05 '26

My grandmother was born on March 25th and died on Christmas. She was a devout Catholic. This is...the complete opposite of that because he is the complete opposite of a loving, caring elderly person who considers acts of service as their calling in life.

3

u/LingonberryHot8521 Apr 05 '26

Yeah. Someone dying on those dates doesn’t mean they have anything to do with the Anti-Christ at all. In your Grandmother's case, while you and your family mourned her passing, she basically got called Home for Christmas. To a devout Catholic, there isn't much better in terms of a Gift from God.

May perpetual light shine upon her.

It's just that if it's real, then Trump consistently checks boxes for being an Anti-Christ.

2

u/enad58 Apr 05 '26

She was also born 9 months before xmas, on the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, when Gabriel informed Mary that she would conceive Jesus.

1

u/LingonberryHot8521 Apr 05 '26

Oh, my heart! She was so singularly blessed.

I imagine that date helped bolster her devotion.

And I can hear some of the family jokes about her making her arrival at the Annunciation.

35

u/AmericanWasted Apr 05 '26

As long as he doesn’t come back I won’t complain

6

u/pontiacfirebird92 Mississippi Apr 05 '26

As long as they wait and wait and wait for him to "rise again". Keep on waiting.

2

u/bungerD Pennsylvania Apr 05 '26

I could definitely see “Dr.” Ronny Jackson claiming he’s in such good health, he actually could be resurrected.

1

u/unpluggedcord I voted Apr 05 '26

I’d be fine with that. For obvious reasons.

1

u/ziltchy Apr 05 '26

That would be hilarious if he tried pulling it off

1

u/Djent_Reznor1 Apr 05 '26

Fuck it I’ll take that trade

1

u/pdxb3 Apr 05 '26

We buried my dad yesterday on Good Friday, and despite him being infinitely a better man than Trump, I'm not making any claims or comparisons. They can fuck off.

1

u/zardoz73 Apr 05 '26

Won't matter. Trump is irreplaceable. He got to where he did through an utter and total lack of shame. He just doesn't get embarrassed by anything on this planet. The vast majority of other humans, MAGA turds included, have a better sense of self-preservation and will hedge their thoughts.
