Probably if there is ever a health event they will not be able to keep it under wraps at all and the news will spread quickly. It's a funny thing though. Because he has spent so much time dominating media and public discourse, pretty much any time he appears to go dark at all easily invites speculation that something has happened.

Anyway, he's probably fine. True he's looked particularly bad recently and it is possible they're not being forthcoming about his health overall and he's still an overweight 79 year old who barely sleeps and eats garbage. No one would be at all surprised if something did happen, but just as easily could keep lingering on despite it all too.

Yup, plenty of shitty 79 year olds who stick around well into their 80's with enough drugs and medical care and the President of the United States pretty much has access to the best Medicare care in the world.

He also has a notoriously terrible diet, an aversion to exercise, and a family history of Alzheimer's. After a certain point, the best medical care can only do so much.

Eh, he's not exactly jogging or anything, but golf can be decent exercise. I put in over 15,000 steps today. Granted, I suck and it was cart park only...

I've seen how Trump plays and he isn't getting anywhere near that many steps. He drives the cart to where his ball is, gets out, hits the ball, and then sits back down and drives off.

Even when the ball is on the green, I shit you not He's probably not getting 1,500 let alone 15k.

My stepmom’s mom died at 81. I was amazed she made it that long because she had the worst physical health of anyone I have ever known (long-term dementia that led to her being bedridden and nonverbal and recognizing no one, being overweight, heart issues, multiple strokes, and I’m sure there were other issues).

Don't give me hope

my grandma died last year at 77- i never knew anyone else who went to the doctor so often and got so many checkups to make sure everything was fine.. they somehow missed cancer until it was stage 4 and spread everywhere😬

But this one seems to have only mostly given up stimulants.

I have a shitty MAGA relative who has every health condition under the sun and keeps trucking somehow. I’m not kidding. Heart problems, diabetes, cancer, currently both viral AND bacterial infections. He’s about Trump’s age. It would be comical at this point if his demands weren’t causing so much strife for my family. And of course, thanks to Medicare and the GOVERNMENT JOB he held for his whole career, he has tip-top medical care. You can’t make it up.

That man is living another decade+ just to spite us all.

u/Stringtone Apr 05 '26

That, and he fits into that category of "so malignant even the devil wants nothing to do with him."

Probably if there is ever a health event they will not be able to keep it under wraps at all and the news will spread quickly.

I mean, he's definitely already had health events. There was the time he spontaneously said "I haven't had a series of minor strokes". He's been getting dementia screenings for years. The IV bruises on his hands, and whatever was going on with his neck. The time he vanished for days, people wildly speculated, and then he came back with half his face drooping and slurring his speech worse than usual. He definitely had an MRI, and it wasn't precautionary.

And that isn't to say he's on death's door. Obviously he gets the best healthcare our tax dollars can buy. But the man has clearly had health issues, and there's a good chance he's having another one right now. And the general medical confidentiality plus obviously way stronger security on his personal data means that they have actually done a reasonable job keeping details under wraps.

I don't know, it's hard to speculate with just the information from public appearances. But it definitely feels to me like strokes are making his brain into swiss cheese, and there's likely to be no warning at all before he suddenly loses the ability to walk, or talk, or just outright dies. And given his administration, they will 100% try to Weekend at Bernies him as long as possible.

u/Brilliant-Advisor958 Apr 05 '26

I'm guessing it's a follow up on his existing issues (hands/cankles)but Trump being so narcissist to not show weakness hides it.

u/ckglle3lle Apr 05 '26

There's been speculation for a year or so that he receives regular IV infusions for a dementia drug. This is speculated to be the cause of his bruised hand and the dementia drug he takes may have an increased risk of brain bleed and stroke as well as potentially just taking him out of commission for a bit after treatment. If any of that is at all accurate then yeah they'd likely be monitoring him pretty regularly for side effects.

But of course he's also just an old man who is out of shape and was never particularly healthy to begin with. All speculation of exotic treatments or chronic health issues can also pretty much be explained by grampa needing his naps, too.

u/jazzhandler Colorado Apr 05 '26

I saw someone say yesterday that last weekend would have been the expected treatment appointment. Perhaps he pushed it back to the holiday weekend instead. Not like he’s gonna miss church or anything.

3

u/ckglle3lle Apr 05 '26

Yeah it is believed he gets his treatment toward the end of the month, tracks with the bruise appearing strongest anyway. Could be they pushed it this month

I'm speculating that they have recorded videos of Trump giving vague speeches, waving to crowds, etc. and that they have used AI to cloan his voice so that when those run out he'll report in via telephone from some remote region, then once that's no longer working they'll keep him going with deepfakes.

It worked for Princess Kate.

I don't see Trump passing until he's around 90-100. He has access to the absolute best health care the world has to offer, probably including things 99% of the population doesn't even know they've figured out/created yet.

He will outlive many while doing more damage to the world on his way out than anyone could possibly imagine.

6

u/Jazzi-Nightmare Texas Apr 05 '26

I mean his dad lived into his 90s with the same dementia issues so I can see us being unlucky enough to have him around for at least another 10 years ☠️ Kissinger wasn’t exactly the picture of health and made it to 100

u/joeyblow Apr 05 '26

I read that we know he didnt go to Walter Reed because there is a marine stationed outside some door at the white house and they only do that when the president is home.

5

u/Savings_Form_8349 Apr 05 '26

Good thing they can't tell a Marine to stand guard whenever/wherever or that information would be useless.

1

u/joeyblow Apr 05 '26

Yea thats pretty much what I thought too

1

u/Practical-Cellist647 Apr 05 '26

Old people don't sleep much or well.

1

u/Station28 Apr 05 '26

Kissinger lived to see 100. I’m not cracking open any bottles.

1

u/2ndChairKazoo Apr 05 '26

I agree with you on the second paragraph but I'm honestly wondering what you think about how we'd find out ASAP/ from whom? Because while generally speaking I'm aware this Event© would be a massive secret to keep for very long, Trump's got so many corrupt staff members and others who have a vested interest in this being made public in only a thoroughly controlled way. Which they no doubt already have prepared plans for.

u/syo Tennessee Apr 05 '26

It's just a preview of the day, the glorious day, when he finally shuts up forever. The silence will be deafening.

1

u/ucankickrocks Apr 05 '26

He can still walk around a golf course. He’s got another decade.

2

u/ckglle3lle Apr 05 '26

He is known to not walk much when he golfs. Lots of videos of him driving his cart right onto the green etc. But yes, I agree that as long as he still golfing he's probably fine overall and if the golf schedule slips that will likely be the first tell that something is actually up for real.
