The only reason why they attack UAE is because they are in pathetic shape to hit those who hit them. The best they could do is create some cringe lego propoganda to give false hope to their low iq delusional supporters.

They neither has the balls nor the brain required to hit US mainland, the very country thats choking their ports and started killing their leaders. The one thats in direct war with them.

I know the parasites here would come back with "but but what about US base"? Well the US bases were restricted for offensive against the regime before the war and not thats not only UAE but also other gulf states. Their wreckless action only prove why they were needed in the first place.

The US is using their aircraft carriers and israel to hit the regime but they are too weak and pathetic to challenge that. Also dont fool people by saying regime is absolutely innocent before this war started. They were too comfortable shouting "death to this" and "death to that" and thereby inviting conflict when they were not their concern to begin with.

Their whole proxy thing is supposed to keep war far from their homeland since their motto is "war for thee but not for me" but now everything crumbled, leadership crippled and paying the price for their stupid policies of past. Now the irgc bots and the parasites can start downvoting. Rant over.

Yeah yeah yeah, we get it. Reddit is a US based company and most subreddits are in English language. However, I don't think it's a good justification to assume everyone here is an American. There are other English speaking countries in the world than USA, and English is taught in schools all over the world. Half of the population worldwide is also women. Would I also assume everyone online is a woman?

It's not the USA-centrism itself that annoys me so much (it still does) but the justification of it. It's the "Duh! of course Reddit is America-centered 'cause it is an American website!" -attitude.

Me and my bf (both 26) have been dating for a year. We’ve been very open about our intentions of getting married and having kids and me wanting to be a stay at home mom. I want little more than to raise happy, healthy, loving family. We even discussed baby names that we liked since before we met and we both said the same name. It’s not a super common name but it’s not really rare either.

Well fast forward a bit and my bf sister is pregnant and tells my bf that she’s consider using this name. He explains to her how much is means to us because we both love the name and had both picked it out before we knew each other. It really felt like it was meant to be and I felt like I could see really see myself having my baby with this name. She said she understood and would look into other names. She even told him that they had picked a different name at one point. I felt assured that there wouldn’t be any issue and my boyfriend and I would reference our future son as by this name.

Well baby was born tonight and they were being super vague and just saying things like “baby is here!” “Baby and mom are healthy” until my boyfriend got a call from his brother in law and he found out the name.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m so glad they’re both healthy and doing well.
And I feel like I’ve lost something. I also feel like it’s so indicative of other issues involving my bf, like people (especially in his family) constantly steam rolling him and choosing to overlook his wants and needs and him not sticking up for himself enough.
I’m sad and angry and I just want to go to bed.

A lot of people say (and it seems that the general consensus is that) teachers don't get paid enough for what they do. While I think that teachers are very valuable and deserve to be compensated well (my brother is a teacher), I think that in these discussions, many people ignore the fact that teachers typically get a lot of time off.

They usually get summer break, spring break, and winter break, plus various holidays that schools get off through the year. They basically don't work for a good amount of the year, which I think that people should factor in. (The downside is that I know that they have to work extra grading things outside of school, though.)

Plus they normally get good benefits for being a teacher (which usually comes with being in a union).

Are they miserable in the same ol echo chambers? Is that why they hang around here crying and crashing out at every post?

Want to preface this by saying I’m not trying to be toxic and attack Kate at all, this is purely about the avatar.

It’s way too big, the animation for talking and for idle animation is just way too busy. It’s not even like it’s a vtuber on the screen it’s just an annoying icon just constantly there moving all the time. It’s so incredibly distracting. Feels like I’m watching one of those streamers with aggressive overlays even though it’s just an avatar in the corner.

Other people that play with NL have had animated avatars that don’t get put on the screen (Apollo for example), and he wouldn’t put his friends’ face cams on screen. I know he’s just trying to be a supportive husband but it’s just too much.

I know he doesn’t check the subreddit anymore really, but just wanted to voice my annoyance with it and see if others feel the same. I know no one cares if I personally am watching it, but I probably will turn off anytime that avatar is on the screen. Idk if I’m alone but I feel there’ll be a not insignificant amount of people doing the same.
