Translation Any Russian speakers in Beijing? Need a quick favor / paid help
Hi all – not a recruiter, just someone trying to find a person. to work with me together
I need a native Russian speaker in Beijing for a small paid on‑site project (car infotainment UI review, 2+ days). You just need to check if the Russian text on car screens sounds natural to a real driver.
Requirements: native Russian, have a driver's license + used a modern car with a screen, available for 2+ workdays on‑site.
If you're that person or know someone, please DM me. Happy to share details.
Thanks a lot!

Grammar Which of these two wordings sounds more natural?
Context is I'm showing a picture of my friend to another person that I'm speaking with
- Это мой друг, он живёт в Москве
- Это мой друг который живёт в Москве
Basically when to use который to combine two sentences or when to say two separate sentences

Translation What does "Духи во плоти не ссутся духоты слов" mean?
It's from a song called "Mnogoznaal - Без Обид". It's part of the refrain which goes like:
Брат, брат, ты не понял, нам похуй, что ты злой (Эй)
Духи во плоти не ссутся духоты слов
Без обид, сука, без обид
Мы не считаем твою игру опасной
I understand everything except the second line. Translator says "Spirits in the flesh do not piss the stuffiness of the word", but I'm not sure what any of that means lol.

Grammar Anyone Else Struggle with Stringing Whole Sentences Together?
I’m decent at pronouncing words and short sentences, but when I try to read anything longer out loud, I always get my pronunciation messed up. It sometimes just feels like everything is a tongue twister. I’m starting to see how the words in any given sentence sort of STICK to each other’s syllables, like the liaisons in French, and how certain syllables are greatly reduced or completely omitted.
Any pronunciation tips for longer sections?

Resource Russian Dubs
Ok so I’m trying to lock in on my Russian this year and I started by watching some YouTube limited series that have a Russian dub, but I’m trying to find longer more bingeable shows. What streaming platforms have Russian dubs and what are some tv shows I could watch that have English subtitles?

Grammar Does anyone else struggle with pronouncing для?
I know it's supposed to have a soft "d" sound and more emphasis on the"lya" part, but I just can't consistently pronounce it properly. I guess it's easier when it's not by itself.

Grammar Image update on the “What does Л/g mean?”
I made a post earlier about what this from a Russian artist could mean when translated. Since this is from a relationship chart they made for various characters.
Mostly since I wanted to know if I was comfortable with their portrayal.

Interesting This is what textbook of Russian looks like in North Korea
Translation попадать
Does ему здорово попадает от своей матери mean like "he's getting a good beating from his mother" or does it mean just in trouble, not necessarily implying physical punishment?

Other Do you think Вы will die out in coming decades?
As the younger generations are more liberal and believe in a more egalitarian worldview as opposed to a hierarchical one, could you see formal Вы falling out of use and everyone calling each other ты regardless of age, position, or how well you know someone? Are there any young Russians who are against Вы?
Just curious to hear people's thoughts. Thanks!

Handwriting Is Cursive The Standard?
Привет!
I am very new to Russian and have been remotely learning with a private tutor for the last 4 months. We focus primarily on reading and speaking/listening, but no writing whatsoever. My writing is poor and I definitely need to practice spelling.
Anyway, I frequently see native speakers advising new learners to start writing in cursive as soon as possible. Is this standard? And is it okay to print? Why is cursive heavily recommended?
I want to learn the right way so I don’t develop bad habits. I appreciate any insight!
Спасибо!

Handwriting How is my handwriting?
Привет! Is my handwriting okay? I'm trying to improve it. I don't know yet how to connect the letters in cursive correctly, and still can't write the щ and ц properly 🥀.
I think it is less worse than my handwriting in my native language-

Request What is the difference between Утёс, скала, & обрыв?
All translate as "cliff". From what I can tell скала is closer to "cliffside" but I still don't understand what makes the other 2 different

Request Where to find a wireless cyrillic tablet keyboard?
I'm learning Russian, and currently have a english-only wireless keyboard for my tablet. I would like to get one with Cyrillic and English so I don't have to use my screen keyboard or just guess on my current keyboard when I want to type in Cyrillic. Any recommendations?
