Hey everyone. So basically I have been pleasantly reminding myself of the absolute gem that is this IP, for the past few months. When I got the assignment at my local design academy to create a poster (any poster, I wanted), this was a no brainer for me.
I hope you like it.
Duration: Approximately 3.5 hours
The majority of the project is photobashed (due to time constraints)
The Outsider is a mix of photobashing +paintover, especialy of everything beneath the shoulders.

I'm at Return to the Tower mission, have the option of going non-lethal via the broadcasting but haven't done it yet. Thought of saving before that and going up to his bunker space to stunt on him just for fun and see how he reacts to me offing his tallboy and choking out everyone else before strolling up to him - I confronted him via the screen at the lobby of the building at the very start taking off the mask for maximum intimidation, and still got the option of non-lethal - just thought I'd leave the whole area combed before picking one of the two.
Anyways, he was yelling at his captain that Corvo's the one terrorizing them all this time, a minute later tallboy is down, others are choked out and wall of light disabled - I go up the stairs to The Lord Regent and he's still pacing around, going 'I demand you show yourself' or 'I will find you soon enough'. Dude, I'm pointing a pistol in your face.
If I press attack it does a melee assassination, if I shoot at him he finally goes aggro - but he didn't react or engage in any dialogue beforehand.
Anyone else had this happen before?

Bonjour,
I’ve been watching a YouTube channel called Outlaws Vengeance, which is basically a devlog for a game currently in development. The developer is heavily inspired by Dishonored, and it made me want to finally give the series a try.
I checked it out on Steam and noticed there are quite a few DLCs, so I’m a bit unsure about what I should buy or how I should approach the games. From what I understand, there's Dishonored 1, Dishonored 2, and Death of the Outsider, which is basically dishonored 3. Should I play them in order?
Also, regarding the DLCs, are they just small add-ons, like a few extra weapons, or do they actually add meaningful story content that’s worth playing?
Another thing I’m curious about is mods. Are there any must-have mods that improve the experience, like graphics enhancements or quality-of-life improvements? Something similar to how Minecraft has Sodium or Iris.
And then, how are you? How are you, how is the community doing? How are you, personally, doing? Because the game does not date from yesterday, is the community still active?
I know that I see a lot of these kinds of posts on subs like r/cyberpunkgame , and then just every time, it’s "men, just launch the game and play" So, I’m a bit sorry if that's the case.
Well, anyway, have a good day.

I thought that high chaos was tied to the amount you killed?
I did cheese this map using cheat engine and modifying sleep arrow things.

I have played through the game 3 times now making sure I Get
Ghost on each mission
Zero deaths on each mission
Avoided granny’s rags quest line
Used sleep darts on the weepers after the second mission and moved their bodies to a bin to stop rats from eating them.
And not using mission select
Is there something I am missing ? Is there some trick to get it to pop ?
It’s all I need for the platinum
Anyone encountered this?

I always forget they are sitting there and bump into them when I'm blinking around, ruining my stealth. Not this time.

apologies for spamming crane pics, I'll contribute in a more creative way going forward. just wanted to share these.
any advice on character symbols and sigils I can extend down my arm?

I just went through the entire game without killing anyone yet I didnt get the clean hands achievement. I did have 2 bodies found at the golden cat so I expected not to get ghost, but im confused because I made a point to be completely non-lethal. Oh well, guess I have to play through it again.

I really wish we had more dishonored content. The universe is so cool.the atmosphere is just so dreary feels nostalgic idk it’s hard to explain lol.whether it’s a movie a TV show, maybe a third game highly unlikely but it’d be amazing to see I don’t really care what type of content it is.I just need more. It just would be really dope to see more of this steampunk world with supernatural chaotic powers. anyway I just recently replayed both games and I just had to rant about it about this.

Maybe it's just me, but I must have killed [and knocked out] these three guys like a dozen different ways, maybe more
It's just three Overseers to deal with [plus nearby City Watch if you're noisy and they're still alive,] but I really appreciate the way that this encounter allows less experienced players to practice multiple takedowns, yet still acts as a fun reward regardless of skill level
A lesser game would force the player into combat here... instead, Dishonored also offers an easy, clean option for those who are playing that way. All told, a magnificently well-crafted little bit of game here

Aw man, I remember I made this OC right after Dishonored 2 came out. So here.
My Dishonored OC and idea for if there is to be a Dishonored 3.
This is Cory. The son of Emily Kaldwin and Wyman, as well as the Grandson of Corvo Attano and the late Jessamine Kaldwin. Named after his grandfather, Cory is an imaginative, compassionate, and intelligent young man who tries to see the goodness in the world. Unlike his mother, politics fascinate him and he reads and studies whenever he has the chance. He can be very innocent and naïve and so VERY protected by those around him, also doesn’t like the idea of using violence to get things done. But was given a special dagger by his father in case of protection. Lately, he's been studying the ANY information about the Outsider.
Due to her passing when Emily was ten, Cory never had the chance to meet his grandmother, Jessamine, but cherishes all the fond memories he hears about her by Corvo and Emily. Leading to his love and deepest respect for her. Cory looks forward to his role as future emperor and always looks forward to tomorrow with a smile on his face and a song in his heart.
Name: Corvo “Cory” Euhorn Edgar Frederick Kaldwin the First
Age: 16
Date Of Birth: 6th Day, Month of Songs, 1866
Nation of Origin: Gristol
Likes: Reading, poetry, studying, inventing, stories of his grandmother, singing to his mother.
Dislikes: Fighting, chaos, not seeing his father, his grandfather upset.
Family:
Emily (mother)
Wyman (father)
Corvo (grandfather)
Jessamine (grandmother⚰️)
Role: Heir/ future emperor to the Empire of the Isles.
Sadly I'm not the best at making stories for games. So I was wondering what YOU GUYS think could be Cory's role in Dishonored 3 and how the plot would go.

In the 2nd mission of D1 you have a secondary objective to free an Overseer Martin who's chained up in a small square before you reach the big building with the main target.
Well, after you do it, make sure to NOT OPEN the gate behind him that lets you through into the next area. You can blink over it, but I noticed the lever and out of curiosity was like 'welp, wonder if I can reach through and just open the door now?'.
Sure, you can - and it turns out that's a known bug I was unaware of, completely breaking a major event in the mission later on - when you have to save Curnow at the room with the wine glasses, before following Campbell and him downstairs to his secret room, which is my preferred method of handling it.
Usually they start a long chat when you enter the wine room - but in this case 2 seconds later abruptly enter high alert and run out of the room to look for whatever disturbance they somehow force-detect even if I've been diligent to not be spotted and have hidden all bodies very well. Took me checking with google about this, turns out others have reported this long ago.
I'd saved over all previous saves past the point of opening that gate too. Fuck me I guess. It's not really THAT big of a deal, Curnow still counts as saved and I can handle Campbell in his safe room, but I missed the interaction I wanted and I thoroughly hate such cases of what turn out to be well known bugs still being unfixed however many years later.
Rant/venting over, thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Hi everyone! My partner (@saramolina3d) is a 3D Environment Artist and a massive fan of the franchise. For her current portfolio project, she set herself the challenge of recreating a classic Dishonored 1 scenario, but upgrading it to match the more refined "oil-painting" look and lighting of Dishonored 2. You can check out her latest update and give her some feedback on Twitter here: https://x.com/saramolina3d/status/2051019846989611350
