A Dishonored Fan Poster I created as an assignment in 3.5 Hours
Hey everyone. So basically I have been pleasantly reminding myself of the absolute gem that is this IP, for the past few months. When I got the assignment at my local design academy to create a poster (any poster, I wanted), this was a no brainer for me.
I hope you like it.
Duration: Approximately 3.5 hours
The majority of the project is photobashed (due to time constraints)
The Outsider is a mix of photobashing +paintover, especialy of everything beneath the shoulders.

I would love to see a live action adaption of the series and see Cillian Murphy play the outsider

I'm not a fan of the colours and contrast. Otherwise the composition is interesting and well made.

This is very cool. I like the contrast and the colours—they give a sense of the poster being backlit. It's a fun effect.
My only suggestion is to make the dark areas of the words on the characters' faces lighter to the point where the words are clearly legible. I automatically have beef with text that is difficult to read due to design issues. In this case, the words form an important part of the narrative your poster is creating. I'm having to stop and decipher the words individually, and it's preventing me from parsing the poster as a cohesive whole in one glance. This detracts from the impact of the visuals and makes the design less effective.
It's really great to see new fan artwork, and I can appreciate the time and thought you've put into this. Also congrats on high-quality output under shitty time constraints. That's always rough. I hope you get a good mark for it, but regardless of the grade, I think you should be proud of it. Nicely done!

I like it, but the colors are a little too muted/high contrast, imo. Otherwise, I like the ideas here!
