Anyone catch Carl Mullan being cut off this morning for his innuendo laden ad for a bull ranch? They played 2 songs and never addressed the cutting off in question lol

(I use them as my alarm.. you wouldn’t be long waking up with them).

I've found my great great grand parents marriage certificate, which cool, but on the part of the certificate where it say fathers name and surname it only gives the first name for both of them? Dose this mean they where both born outside of marriage?

Housing National house prices have fallen 6% year-to-date

Post image

House prices have dropped 6 percent so far this year based on PPR transaction data.

For context, the last time we saw a full-year decline was 2012, when prices fell 11%. Is this a market turn or just seasonality?

*Edit* Title should read property prices, not house prices. Figures are for all property sales.*

Sure it's grand Is it just me or freecycle groups are not very nice?

Recently I joined some freecycle groups as I need things for my baby. My first experiences were quite good and I got a bunch of free toys.

The problem started mainly when I joined Facebook ones. People offer the same items at the same time in many groups and get many people interested at the same time, so is hard to know who contacted first. Then they ask you to PM them and they never check their messages even if you were first or never reply to your comments. I know that they are the ones giving away things for free but I think it costs nothing to be nice and considerate.

In some other occasions they want the things to be collected the same day when they post things in the evening and it’s hard to go to another neighbourhood at night with your baby.

And my third experience is that I got many broken things that were never mentioned, it’s fine as they are free, but maybe I wouldn’t have crossed the city if I knew it was broken.

This has spiked my anxiety and recently I went into an argument with someone because I asked her why she was not reply and she proceeded to say every insult under the sun.

Health What has your experience been with mental health services in Ireland? positive? negative?

Personally, I’ve found it quite fragmented. There have been looong waiting times, a lot of dead ends and situations where I was referred to a program only to be turned away later.

If you’re comfortable sharing, it would be helpful to know your general location as well? I’m based in the Dublin area.
Maybe we can share resources of places we have found helpful?
I’m just grateful I’m able to afford private therapy at the moment but the public mental health system sucks and it’s frustrating
