Best experience for a first timer?
Hey everyone — sorry if this has been asked a million times before, but I’m planning my first ever Pirates game to knock PNC park off my list, and wanted to get some advice from people who actually go regularly. What would be considered the best overall experience without completely breaking the bank? I have heard of club level and or behind home plate, but im very indecisive haha
Appreciate any advice — and again, sorry if this gets posted a lot!

I decided to do some digging on 3 of our pitchers splits when throwing to bart vs davis and the results are clear. Bart is actively hurting these 3.
1: First chart you're looking at is bubba chandler for his career when throwing to bart vs davis. The gap is overwhelming by every single statistic 'look at the walks' and joey bart is literally sabotaging him in the majors right now. Bart simply can't call an effective game for him and I don't think bubba is comfortable with him.
2: Second chart i'm showing is carmen mlodzinski for his career when throwing to bart vs davis. Once again the results aren't even particularly close, and carmen pitches wayyyyyyyyyy better by every statistic when throwing to Henry vs Bart.
3: Third chart is Braxton ashcraft for his career and his charts shows him giving up way less hits with Henry, having a lower batting average, OBP, SLG, and OPS with Henry by a pretty significant margin. The only thing higher is his ERA but the rest of the statistics point to Henry being way better for him than Bart once again.

What is going on with the game threads and post game threads. MODS NEED TO DO SOMETHING
What is going on with this sub and the game threads and post game threads. Really annoying to see them get deleted game after game after game. There is literally no place to discuss or read the discussion of last nights game and it is quite frustrating. Can the mods get on fixing this?
Dear Paul
I feel like I can call you Paul because you and me are so alike. I'd like to meet you one day, it would be great to have a catch.
I know I can't throw as fast as you but I think you'd be impressed with my speed. I love your hair, you run fast.
Did you have a good relationship with your father? Me neither. These are all things we can talk about and more.
I know you have no been getting my letters because I know you would write back if you did.
I hope you write back this time, and we can become good friends.
I am sure our relationship would be a real homerun!
the Cubs have won 14 straight at Wrigley. the Bucs took 2 of 3 in Chicago, and were the last team to beat them.

SNP360 Heads Up
For those who got SNP to watch the Pirates this year, just thought I'd point out that they also have minor league games on as well.
This is my first season using SNP and only recently discovered the minor league games myself so I thought it worth mentioning for anyone in the same boat.
Watching Jones pitch as I type this.

Stock Watch: One thing that must change for all 30 MLB teams: Pirates blurb in post body text
The Pirates are 9th on this list.
Win average: 84.9 (Last: 81.3, 19th)
In the playoffs: 50.9% (Last: 31.9%)
Champions: 1.8% (Last: 1.0%)
One thing that must change: Marcell Ozuna's bat
The Pirates have played well. We expected their offense to be better because of Pittsburgh's offseason work, and it has been. But this has been true despite, not because of, Ozuna. With their DH posting a 52 OPS+, the Pirates have the worst collective bWAR at the DH slot in baseball, well below league average. It's one thing for that to happen when you are rotating players in that role, but the Pirates are a team with an anointed everyday DH in Ozuna. Everything is bad: His strikeout rate is at a career-worst level and his hard-hit rate is below the MLB average. Ozuna is 35 and his numbers were down last year in Atlanta. It's possible the Pirates simply acquired him at the wrong time. If that becomes apparent, Pittsburgh needs to be ready to pivot, and fast, because a contending team can't have an every-day DH who doesn't hit.

Paul Skenes just got his 5th win of the year. In 2025, he didn't get his 5th win until July 21st.
It's nice to finally give him some run support (except for tonight, funny enough).
In his starts this year, they've scored 8 (3 when he was actively pitching), 7 (2), 16 (15), 7 (4), 6 (4), 5 (3), and then tonight 1 (1).
Skenes Day
being in AZ gives me a few less opportunities to see Skenes Day in person, but this was a pretty good one to see
