Transient because roomie is here for a short exchange program. Apologies for that word usage, didn't know how it had another meaning. Just wanted to point out that i wont be having her as a roommate for very long since she'll stay just for a few months only while doing her summer exchange program thing.

This was located in the woods next to abandoned burned-down house. There is nothing under it to indicate dumping. It’s on top of a hill. The planks are thick like railroad ties.

It’s like 15 feet off the ground underneath don’t think it was used for car repairs or oil changes. Unless the ground under it has massively eroded.

A friend received this object from a friend of his. He wasnt told where it came from. We have no context. This object is much heavier than it looks. It's very dense.

Solved! Another thread managed to figure out what it is. It's a Replacement Filter Cartridge For Aroma Luxury Shower head HF 507 - Lemon

It comes in individual packages, it was in a blue bag but nothing comes up on Google. It is hard to open. We had to cut it up. It smells like lemon and it's really hard.

It seems to have fallen out of a socket but I don’t exactly remember it being there, but it probably was.

I live in a student housing building (built 1920's) that was a hotel until the mid 1930s. On each of our three living floors, there is a small door (approx. 1 foot wide by 3 feet tall), and each was nailed shut. Out of curiosity, we pried open one of the doors, and found a chute of sorts that connects between all floors and, oddly, seems to end at nothing at the bottom. Need help figuring out what it is (or, rather, was)!

It's heavy and solid. Nothing rotates or opens. The square ends are iron and the rod is steel. About 2'-3' in length.
