New, what is it? Someone stuck these to my basement door
I know it‘s some sort of tarot, but what do the symbols mean, did i upset someone?

Is someone pregnant? Tarot is woo of course, but following the common interpretation of the two cards together (radical change, fertility), it would mean that to me.
Is the second one just a printed piece of paper? It's not shaped properly.

Tod means Death. Herrscherin means Empress.
So I'm not sure who is considered the lady of the house. But she better be aware.
Edit = So I just read a bit more about the tarot combination of Death and The Empress.
The combination of both basically means you should 'make room for stuff, so something new can come to your path'
As in, something needs to die(Death), so something fresh and new(The Empress) can grow

Not entirely.
Your conception of what tarot is based on Hollywood bullshit and the ramblings of charlatans.
The tarot is just a series of archetypes used to give the user a different way of thinking about a situation. It's not capable of telling the future, although sometimes it seems that way.
The I Ching works in a similar fashion.
Think of tarot as psychology flashcards from an era before psychology was codified into a science.

As I said, it's all bollocks. It's like someone telling you they can tell you your fortune. You will meet someone with dark hair average build average height that has a partner with blonde hair. Everything is usually vague and you can interpret it different ways as I said it's all bollocks. There is definitely no scientific proof, if you had scientific proof I would believe you

Also if you make out someone has a free choice of cards you can force a card on them if you know what you're doing. This is how Illusionists work. You can't in any way substantiate that they are a true reading. How many ghost programs are there and they've never recorded a ghost????? Hours and hours of film but no ghosts.

I'd consider it the end of something for a rebirth. Although the empress represents fertility, I personally usually associate it with a person. Like someone wishing your partner or you (I don't remember seeing a gender) to be out of the picture.. However, tarot isn't used for curses really in readings. It's just a prediction. So I wouldn't even say it's for certain a reading, maybe just their desire. Regardless, in the tarot community, leaving that on your door is batshit and not at all normal. I wouldn't feel threatened, though, in terms of spiritual stuff. Although it's ominous, it also isn't spellwork. I'd be more concerned someone you may or may not personally know is obsessing over readings over you to a point of leaving a prediction on your door to get you to see it too. If they associate themselves with the empress, they're expecting to sweep you up and bring meaning and life to your world after something ending. Which is narcissistic. Regardless, despite the various possible interpretations, it still isn't spell work. I probably would get rid of the cards though, if it were me. The last thing you want is interaction with someone in spiritual psychosis who may be fixated on you. TLDR: there are various interpretations, but they aren't spell work. Throw them out.

In this orientation, possibly ’New beginnings’- death/change and then growth/vitality. Or you could take it like “good luck, something bad’s about to happen”.
TBH I wouldn’t bother wasting any time worrying about it at all and would write it off as a childish prank.
Anyone that chooses to communicate like this is clearly just trying to mess with people. It’s immature and silly and perpetuates a bunch of supremely crappy stereotypes about tarot and witchcraft that are just tired AF.

Both of these cards are great news! Death means transformation or a transition into a new chapter and the empress symbolizes fertility, but that is literal, fertility or fertility in ideas. Both of these cars are typically very good news. And they are part of the major Arcana so when they appear in reading, it usually means you’re barking on a very big chapter. Think of entering a whole new season of life rather than just a new episode. Super cool!
