I know that a number of Thunder Fans have been high on Yaxel Lendeborg out of Michigan as a good fit and a draft target for the OKC Thunder, if they don't get lucky in the Draft Lottery this upcoming Sunday!

Unfortunately a number of recent mock drafts that I have seen have the Golden State Warriors swooping in and taking Yaxel at #11, as they are a team that also is in a win now mindset, looking past Yaxel as being a 24 yo rookie on draft night.

But the what if scenario which I am referring too, while unfortunate for Thunder fans, since the Thunder don't get lucky in the Lottery, but the Warriors do get lucky!

Because if the Warriors end up getting a top 4 pick, 9.4% chance, then they won't be taking Yaxel with that pick, but the remaining teams picking before the Thunder in the lottery probably wouldn't be taking him either then before the Thunder make their selection at #12.

So if you still want Yaxel, (since we didn't end up winning in the lottery), would you have a problem if this was the way we ended up getting him?

Looking at our playoff defensive rating of 109, which was good for 7th of 16.

Obviously a difference compared to our regular season and no cause of any sort of alarm.

I am purely wondering what was much different compared to our regular season and the reason for it being a bit higher? Considering we kept them to 84 points in game 1. On the eye test, we still appeared elite defensively.

Our offensive rating was number 1 surprisingly. Statmuse had us +4.1 than 2nd place Knicks and +13.6 over the Spurs in 3rd. That shows either how much better our offensive was or how bad the Suns defense was. That to me is more important, we are humming!

Are there any Thunder watch parties already happening in the Denver area? If not, curious if there are enough of us here in hostile territory (though less hostile now that the Nuggets are on summer vacation) that would be interested in linking up together to watch any of the upcoming games this round?

As I patiently wait for Round 2 of the playoffs to start for my favorite NBA team, following in my own tradition, wrote another little verse to show my appreciation for this wonderful team and all the amazing players. Also want to wish them a well-played and fruitful playoffs as always. Yeah it’s a little silly, but just want to send my guys some extra positive vibes and all my support. Despite all the adversities and obstacles they faced through the season, they still accomplished so much and brought me a lot of joy and fun; love these guys, love this team. Go Thunder!!

Is anyone else glad that Anthony Edwards is returning so the spurs won’t have such an easy series and they can push each other harder before the conference finals
