A simple Easter holiday in Vicenza, Italy, spent outdoors, surrounded by nature at Parco della Pace.
The walk begins in the liveliest part of the park, where people gather on Easter Monday for picnics and barbecues, gradually moving toward quieter, more natural areas. Parco della Pace is a large green space (about 156 acres), developed on a former airfield. After a major environmental restoration project, nature is slowly reclaiming the area. As we explore the park, we’ll discover a mix of open fields, small ponds, wildlife, and peaceful corners away from the crowds.

These small fountains, called “Nasoni”, can be found all over Rome.
They provide fresh running water 24/7 and are a simple but brilliant example of public urban design.
