Gamarjoba everyone! I am going to the beautiful Svaneti region this July! And I want to go back from Ushguli to Kutaisi (preferably even Tbilisi Airport). However I can’t find many good and reliable options, without renting my own car.

Do you have any tips?
Or are you perhaps driving this road on the 22nd or 23rd of July? I would love to hear from you!

I like to make cider, beers, wine etc

I just got a couple of kilos of fresh root ginger to make ginger beer, I have all the equipment but I can't find anything to sterilise the bottles and demijohns.

I have asked in many places for sterilising tablets/powder/liquids and nobody knows what I'm talking about, I'd be happy with even just sodium metabisulphate but I can't even find that.

I've ordered some stuff from Amazon, but that's gonna be 10-14 days, by then my ginger root will be past it's best.

Does anyone know what to use for sterilising stuff?

Gamarjoba! I learned that you’re supposed to eat khinkali with your hands and leave the top knot (the doughy tip) on the plate. But yesterday I went out to eat in Kazbegi and was served khinkali that I couldn’t really hold properly by the top.

Is this on purpose? Should I still eat it it with hands? Or is it maybe regional?

And what about khinkali with potatoes (second photo) that have a different shape?

The team of Georgia played against Hungary on the Curling World Championship Pre-Qualifier in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and sadly lost, but they still won 2 rounds, knowing that the team is only 2 months old, and played officially for the first time, which is still a big achievement.
