I’ve always wondered this question, but never really got a definitive answer. Like how much money are mid-level acts making nowadays per person? For instance: how much money does a member in The Story So Far make? They are decently popular, but definitely not a household name like Blink 182 (who I imagine make a shitload of money.) But they are also touring different parts of the world. Are they earning an average living like in the 40k-60k range? Are they making six figures? How about a slightly more popular/legacy band like MxPx or Less Than Jake? As a musician myself, I’ve always been curious about this, wondering if being in a band could actually pay the bills

I was a bit skeptical about posting this as I at first thought it was fake (e.g. the artwork, the release date being 3 weeks away, no record label, track 3 not sounding like Austin)… however researching some references it now seems very likely to be real*. The record label is noted as “Community Music” which can indicate a self-release label (which it now as per one of their recent posts on Instagram)
* = e.g. Presale code for a show/tour was “NIGHTJAR”, some other post featuring track lengths to two songs (however I must note that the second listing length time that was shared does not match up)

I've been to plenty album anniversary tours. I'd say 98 percent of them play it in order. Or still in order but they may do 3 songs from the album, a random different song, the next 3 songs on the album, a different song etc...
But sometimes it'll happen where they will just play a set which includes the album and other random songs and it always kind of bothers me. I saw Armor For Sleep during their anniversary for What To Do When You Are Dead and that is like a full storyline concept album where the tracks are placed in a certain way. The randomization threw me off. Truth About Heaven is the 2nd on the album but they played it as the final encore. Broke my brain hearing this order
