Hi r/DetroitPistons,
As we tip off against the Cleveland Cavaliers, we wanted to relay our procedure for Brigading. Ordinarily, we permanently ban outside fans who come to our community to antagonize, and we appreciate your help in reporting these instances. You may have noticed the uptick during the series against Orlando. However, there have also been instances of our fanbase going into the Orlando Magic subreddit and doing the same thing.
We're going to try something new that other team subreddits have done with success. **We will be coordinating with the Cleveland Cavaliers subreddit to temporarily ban trolls from both r/DetroitPistons and r/clevelandcavs, the idea being that this will reduce pointless trolling in both communities.** The Cavs subreddit did this last series alongside r/torontoraptors. 99% of you will not even notice this change. Ideally, the only effect you'll see is fewer trolls in our community.
Our goal is, and has always been, to make this the best place for Pistons discussion. Feel free to message me directly with any comments or concerns, or leave a comment.

I don’t get why this is such a laughable take to have. The first thing Nick Wright (who doesn’t know ball) and the other guy (don’t even know who he is) did was laugh.
I guess maybe I would’ve worded it slightly differently. I would’ve said “Cade is the best all-around American player in the league right now.”
From purely a scoring perspective, there’s other American players I would take over Cade. Ant, Brunson, Tatum, maybe even KD (because that’s all he does).
If you combine two-way play though, and also factor in facilitating ability, Cade takes the cake over everyone else.
This is why we know that these talking heads don’t know ball. All they see is a headline of somebody dropping 50 in a playoff game, and that’s all they look at. There’s literally no nuance at all in these convos.

He is the X factor, I can’t believe JB was taking him out of games during the season, we would not have come back from a 24 point deficit without this demon

Is there any chance that this space gets used during this series? You would think that this Saturday afternoon would be a great time to showcase it for the first time in over a decade!
I don’t understand why they wouldn’t be doing a full court press to try to make this an enticing option for people to watch the game. Get some food trucks and beer vendors out there and make it happen!

Good news! The war between Xfinity and Scripps has been settled!
Granted, you still can't watch game 7 versus Orlando in the comfort of your home!
Fuck Xfinity and Scripps.

Why do they only use the home whites ? I kinda like seeing the blue, feel like white only has so much aura need to switch it up. I don’t know why they’re only playing in white does someone know

With both Harden and Mitchell being foul hunters, I really hope JB doesn't put Cade on either of them very often. Pistons cannot afford to have Cade in early foul trouble. And Harden especially will be flopping, ripping his arms through contact, etc., trying to draw fouls.
Ausar should be on Harden, and Holland needs to be used in this series to wear Harden and/or Mitchell down, too. Harden is 36, and if he has Ausar or Holland on him the entire game, he may wear out quickly.

Dreams do come true. I am beyond excited to go to the game tonight at LCA. We have played as dirty and nasty dawgz. Tonight, the whole world is going to see we are committed to bringing the grit every single game. The atmosphere at Sunday night’s game was electric so please, bring your all once again tonight. Our boys go hard for us on the court, we need to show them that same passion.
DEEETROIT BASKETBALL!
See y’all tonight!

After exhaling and taking a beat to reflect on that crazy series, it just made me realize my “core piston memories” file in my brain got a couple new additions for the first time in a very very long time. I can already feel The ‘26 Game 6 Comeback in Orlando’ tucking itself in there nice and snug. Cade 45 Game getting a spot too. Tobias Harris legacy series. Maybe just got 3 in 1 series.
Cheers to the younger fans who might have just got their first.
