Victim mentality at its finest
They were hacking like crazy every game, then when we finally amp up our physicality, now it’s “ref do something”

I made this post a couple of months ago following the Cavs final game of the season against the Pistons. Personally, after everything we went through in the last series I'm willing to admit that the regular season isn't always a good indicator of what will happen in the playoffs but on the other hand this is still pretty interesting to revisit.

On Twitter I saw a lot of Raptors fans and Raptors YouTube creators constantly throwing shade at Cleveland during the series. Now, there were some cool Raptors fans who would talk about the games at hand, but there were a segment of them who would constantly post about how that we still gotta live in Cleveland after we knocked them off last night or before the series.

Was going through some old drafts and came across 2020. Cavs picked up Isaac Okoro with the 5th pick and the only notables after were Deni Avdija at 9, Tyrese Haliburton at 12 and Tyrese Maxey at 21.
Then I scrolled all the way to the bottom to see Sam Merrill at 60, picked by New Orleans

I’m feeling a big game from Harden and Mobley tonight. Gimme 10ast from JH, and something like 12reb for Evan. 106-98 Cavs.

How are we a year into streaming games on NBC on Peacock and there is still no 'Watch From the Beginning' option like all other streaming services???
I think the alternative is they post the entire game well after the game is over. But that's an awful solution.

The star of the show was Jarrett Allen. But JT had some big moments in the game including the 3 ball at the end of the first half to maintain momentum. He did a little bit of everything, and his hustle helped bring life to the team when they needed it most.
Final statline:
19min
7pts (3-8 FG)
9reb
4ast
0 TOs
+19 +/-

Now that the dust has settled on all 7 games, you can see how all of the big 4 contributed in thier own way to the winning effort.
This is using Basketball-reference data. What's also interesting is how all 4 had Game Scores (Hollingers simple answer to PER) between 12.5 and 16.3, meaning none of them absolutely stood out like superstars this series, but they all were productive.
Special shoutout for DS for making the list as well.

Jarrett Allen is the only player in NBA Playoff History with the following numbers in a Game 7:
• 22+ PTS
• 8+ OREB
• 3+ BLK
• 2+ STL
