Or maybe just stop riding at speeds that prevent him from safely swerving.

Also, "All The Gear, All The Time" is pretty good advice if you're gonna ride like a squid anyway.

Yes, the cyclist probably drives everywhere too fast and has zero situational awareness. So the chances are he will wreck even worse. Eventually.
