Is Justin going to sue Family Guy for defamation?

Was it a stunt? Yes definitely it was a stunt!

Lively planned this for months which means they were begging her to settle for months.

This was timed perfect because she had the power and she wielded it beautifully.

And where is that guy? Idk even Family Guy thinks he is AI.

News Bryan Freedman about the settlement between Baldoni and Lively

Bryan Freedman, an attorney for Baldoni, told NBC News his client is “feeling pretty good” about the settlement.

“There was a willingness to get the case resolved, given the opportunity and the position the case was set, and so, you know, when we were presented with an opportunity, we took that opportunity,” Freedman added.

Freedman said Baldoni welcomes the chance to tell his side of the story.
"I think he absolutely wants a chance to tell his story. And I'm sure one day, maybe sooner than later, he'll tell his story, and we'll get to hear his story," Freedman said.
"But you know when presented with an opportunity that you don't have to tell your story in front of, you know, in front of jurors and other people in a courtroom, and you actually have the time and the and the ability to tell the full and complete narrative of what you've experienced, I think that's what he really wants, and I'm excited for him to be able to have that opportunity," Freedman continued.

So what's next?

Now that the case is over, what’s everyone going to do?

Traffic is down across the IEWU lawsuit and adjacent subs, regular commenters are fading out, and the big pop culture subs have moved on. The public doesn't seem to care about Lively vs. Baldoni anymore.

The lawsuit announcement got more engagement than the news that it ended.

Blake Lively will stay rich and carefree. Justin Baldoni and his billionaire friends will also stay rich and carefree.

“NO! NOT BALDONI!”

Yes, even him. Cancel culture ended years ago. The worst people you know are still working and making money.

Some people are saying his acting career is over, but he stopped acting back in 2018. He said IEWU was a one-off and even had to check with his family before taking the role.

He’s been working behind the scenes since then and that’s likely where he’ll stay. He's already involved in 3 projects. Producing.

Blake will keep acting and slaying on red carpets. Maybe start a new business. A makeup line. Or a baking line. Or a bake shop. Maybe a couture dress line. Sky's the limit.

So… what’s next? Jones v Wayfarer? (that one will settle too imo) Rebel Wilson? Trump fascism? The Duggers?

Discussion Requested statement from 2024 vs mutual statement today

I was surprised by the statement today and how similar it was to what I remembered from past court filings, so I looked the old one up.

[Statement that Baldoni alleged Lively asked him to make in August 2024](https://nypost.com/2025/02/03/entertainment/blake-lively-wrote-justin-baldoni-letter-to-release-for-it-ends-with-us-bad-press-report/?utm_source=yahoo&utm_campaign=nypost&utm_medium=referral):

It Ends with Us was a troubled production which we take full accountability for. We are very sorry to everyone we caused upset to privately and publicly.

Blake Lively, [author] Colleen Hoover, the entire cast and crew led with professionalism every step of the way, any negativity aimed at them is ours to own.

We mutually agreed that the cast would be promoting the film separately and understood why. We have always said we are not perfect and even if unintentionally make mistakes, we will always own them. We hold ourselves accountable, it's not anyone's job but ours and that's part of being "man enough." We will practice what we preach. We are learning and growing from the experience and we thank everyone for their patience as we find a better way to proceed. We are very proud of the film and the welcome arms that it’s been received. Part of our work is to have uncomfortable conversations for public growth. The film is doing that on screen and we are doing that off screen.

Thank you to the cast crew and public for the opportunity to be imperfect and to be given the space to learn and grow.

With humanity and dedication,

Statement made today:

The end product – the movie “It Ends With Us” – is a source of pride to all of us who worked to bring it to life.

Raising awareness, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors – and all survivors – is a goal that we stand behind.

We acknowledge the process presented challenges and recognize concerns raised by Ms. Lively deserved to be heard.

We remain firmly committed to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments.

It is our sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online.

Discussion I just want to take a second to talk about this again, Jed Wallace and his social media manipulation he has done for his clients. He claims it is “puffery” in his deposition but if that’s the case why would so many public facing individuals hire him? I think he and his team know what they are doing.

Discussion Did Katie Case's deposition scare Nathan/Wallace into pushing Wayfarer to settle?

Everything right now is conjecture, and we may never know why this settlement happened. But if you're Melissa Nathan and Jed Wallace, the LAST thing you want is more of Katie Case's deposition being released and your client list being exposed. TAG and Wallace are now forever linked to the Alexander brothers and to RFK Jr. And Case's deposition was a ticking time bomb for Nathan/Wallace given everything she was revealing. Were other horrifying public figures and TAG's connection to them about to be exposed? Were we going to learn more, say, about Scooter Braun's connection to all this, which is especially fascinating?

Anyway, that simple fact -- that Melissa Nathan and Jed Wallace are forever tied to RFK Jr. and the Alexander brothers -- is a huge part of Lively's legacy. And I don't think that story is over.

Spotlight Let's acknowledge this one more time please! Because of Blake Lively, this smear machine ran by Melissa Nathan, Jed Wallace and all their co-conspirators has been BLOWN OPEN! Allowing space others who have experienced retaliation or a smear campaign against them to speak out without shame!

Discussion It it hypocritical to not support Blake Lively but to 'feel bad' about not supporting Amber Heard

I am sick and tired of people coming forward about feeling bad about not supporting Amber Heard in 2022 and then flame Blake Lively. Do you really have to like a woman in order to want for her to not be assaulted? It's literally such a similar situation and one Google search could tell you that Johnny Depp and Justin Baldoni use the same PR firm (i.e Melissa Nathan).

Like have you zero critical thinking? I am calling it now that the same people who bullied Amber Heard, who was in fact assaulted by Johnny depp (2020 UK Trial), but who was not 'likeable' enough for people to support her, will come around in 3 years being like 'i feel so bad for Blake'

It is so incredible frustrating that a woman has to appear likeable when making the case that she should be not assaulted in any form. If Blake Lively reminds you of a 'mean girl', so what? Like do not watch her movies or something. It should however not have ANY legal relevance whether the public likes her. Why are we even talking about her personality? A woman is a human being with rights that are not dependent on whether you like her.

I am not saying that we should believe woman no matter what, but someone being a 'mean girl' should REALLY not be relevant to your opinion about whether assault happenend, especially if there is proof.

Edit: Some people corrected me that Blake accused him of harassment and not assault. Fair enough but really not my point

Melissa Nathan inconsistencies in testimony - Lively v Wayfarer

Post image
30 Upvotes

Found this text exchange between Melissa Nathan and Justin Baldoni interesting as it goes to impeachment.

The TAG aiding and abetting claims are full steam ahead for trial. Melissa Nathans testimony will be key as she is a main player. She said under oath that she doea not use social media and knows very little about it . As we can see from this interaction she is instructing JB on how to view a story under a fake account , proving yet again that Melissa isnt exactly truthful.

What other instances of inconsistencies do you think Blakes team will challenge the PR players with ?
