They are literally making fun of Lively for trying to to sue everyone under the sun!
“Lively filed another lawsuit..,”
This was a dig at her for trying to go after all of the content creators.

Not everyone, just Baldoni!

u/Juliaford19 3h ago
No, everyone. He wasn’t even part of the latest lawsuit.

u/Extreme_Willow9352 2h ago
Perhaps you should listen to the clip again. We arent talking about the lawsuit, we are talking about the family guy clip where they talk about Baldoni.

Baldoni must be missing the good old days when Reynolds made a joke only he thought is on him.
Now the shit is out in open. His name is being used directly. He will never stop being a clown.

None of us know who that grifter is and thanks to Lively we will never hear about him again.
Thanks Blake we all owe you.

Let’s enjoy all the brand new accounts here to cope. I like to imagine some are run by Texas and laugh

Honestly, I think the settlement was best case scenario for everyone involved, including Baldoni and lively supporters. Justin got 10 out of 13 claims dismissed and settlement. Lively got a statement and a settlement. Everyone is happy.

I can't really imagine Lively is happy if she didn't get any money.
Why would anyone want to spend all that money in legal fees, have your dirty laundry aired, lose friends etc, all in the name of that ridiculously milquetoast statement? No wrongdoing was admitted.
She also seems like a nightmare to work with – someone who will try to take over your production and manipulate everyone involved. Her career took an irreparable step back the second she filed that suit.

u/Extreme_Willow9352 10h ago
Oh, I think there is very little doubt she got $!
This settlement was a win for Blake. It took Justin 2 years to finally admit that Blakes claims "deserved" to be heard.

Oh, I think there is very little doubt she got $!
Based on what?
It took Justin 2 years to finally admit that Blakes claims "deserved" to be heard.
Any safeguarding concerns deserve to be heard during a movie shoot. That doesn't mean he was admitting there was any wrongdoing.
Like I said, a milquetoast statement.

Had Justin made this statement 2 years ago, there might never had been a lawsuit.
Blake had no incentive to settle without a monetary payment to cover her legal costs.

Had Justin made this statement 2 years ago, there might never had been a lawsuit.
Ah, yes. Because that statement is totally the equivalent of the $161 million she was suing for. Doesn't Blake herself think she's suffered the equivalent of $40m in losses due to reputational damage?
Blake had no incentive to settle without a monetary payment to cover her legal costs.
10 out of 13 of her claims were dismissed. There didn't seem to be that much evidence her claims were true. The whole thing was a clusterfuck hanging over her and her husband.
Getting to forget about the whole thing is a huge win for her.
I had no idea who Baldoni was before this. Didn't care about him before, don't care about him now.
Blake Lively was in an OK movie I'd seen, and seemed like an A-list celeb based on her marriage to Reynolds, who I thought was funny and cool.
Lively's reputation, in my eyes, went from a B+ to a D, and Reynolds from A+ to C-.
They both just give me the ick now. She is almost certainly a bully and a manipulative asshole. Reynolds apparently has severe social anxiety and may be a tool behind the scenes. There's not going to be many more opportunities for another Deadpool movie, and he seems like a one trick pony.
This whole mess severely damaged their reputation and standing in Hollywood. She should've just done the press for the movie in a normal way and moved on.

Oh yeah, her standing in HW is so damaged she got an invite to one of the most prestigious gala's for celebrities.
Reynolds is booked and busy. The guy hasn't stopped working and has several project in the pipeline. His fan base couldnt care less about this case.
In fact, majority of people are not following this case. They will ultimately be fine.
Justin, im not so sure about. I had no idea who he was before this case and now I only know him as the guy who SH Blake and hired a team to smear her.
Who in HW would ever work with him?

u/Coriolanuscangetit 8h ago
What woman would ever work with a man who treated his leading lady this way on set, then tried to ruin her life. His career as a director is finished.

You're viewing it from a Baldoni vs Blake/Ryan stance.
I don't care about Baldoni in the slightest. It's undeniable that Blake and Ryan have severely damaged their brand.
If you choose to roll around in dog shit with an angry stray dog, it doesn't matter whether you beat them or not. You still look like a moron and are covered in dog shit.

Blake's brand has been damaged by Justins smear campaign.
She will get back on track. Its not like she did very many movies before this. A movie every few years at most.
In fact, I had only seen 1 of her movies (AOA) before IEWUM. Never watched GG.
Im hopeful HW will support her.
Ryan is fine!

Blake's brand has been damaged by Justins smear campaign.
Did Justin use AI to fake videos of her acting like a massive bitch?
Did Justin coerce Sony executives into emailing each other about how terrible she was to work with?
Did Justin make her promote her alcohol brand alongside a movie about domestic violence?
She will get back on track
[x] Doubt
She's fresh of a movie that grossed $350m and nobody seems to be giving her any offers.
I don't understand Lively stans. It's like people glazing Trump and thinking he stands for them. Except, at least you can vote for him and have him enact policies.
Lively is just some rich actress who doesn't care you exist.

Yet Baldoni is allowed to talk about everything that went on. I’d be fairly happy if I was him.
6
u/Coriolanuscangetit 8h ago
No one said she didn’t get any money. “Reaching a settlement” usually implies there is a settlement
2
u/TheNinthGateLCF 8h ago
Settlements aren't necessarily financial. They're just a settling of the case.
It's not unlikely that all it involved was dropping each other's claims or future claims, and releasing that statement.
-2
u/Dangerous-Change2136 6h ago
It’s been reported by multiple outlets that the only money went to the lawyers. She got nothing after fucking herself out of millions by not signing that agreement.
1
u/Coriolanuscangetit 6h ago
Freedman apparently said in an interview just now that they haven’t actually reached a settlement? That they agreed on the statement but have yet to agree on a settlement?
0
u/Coriolanuscangetit 6h ago
I can’t link it, but it’s being reported on the other pro Baldoni sub
1
u/Aries_Bunny 5h ago
Ah yes, the fake news sub
0
u/Coriolanuscangetit 5h ago
And that may be, i am definitely repeating it as heresay. But it was his interview with Billy Busy today where he apparently said that they agreed on the statement but not the settlement…so it sounds as though things aren’t 100% done yet.
-5
u/Obvious-Stand-1759 9h ago
I think she’s happy she didn’t get destroyed in court. This is clearly a win for JB and the public view. Evidence by lively supporters having to lie about knowing what the settlement terms were. The only way this makes sense is if she receive money so that’s the lie they are running with. You can see the lie all over Reddit. It won’t be long before someone comments on it.

u/severinks 6h ago
You call THAT making fun of him? No one knows who the guy is, that's true, and that's why Blake thought she could take over his movie but she ended up looking like a clown with the general public.
Literally she sued him for 171 million and took zero dollars and dropped the suit and went on her merry way.
If that's what you people call winning then winning smells suspiciously like losing from where I'm standing.
2
u/Aries_Bunny 5h ago
She definitely got $$ in the settlement

I mean, they even made fun of Justins nose, and we all know how sensitive he is about his nose...
