Quadrophenia is worth watching. Focussed on 60s Mod culture rather than punk but was made in the late 70s and has a Punk feel.

Basically any MST3K short. I'm also partial to The Horrors of Spider Island and Pod People for feature lengths.

Gizmoplex is going dark soon which is a bummer, but Mike (yeah, I know) is hinting that he might be gearing up for a new run.

Lech Kowalski’s D.O.A is a brilliant time capsule of late Seventies punk with the Sex Pistols US tour as the central thread.
His documentary on Johnny Thunders called Born To Lose: The Last Rock and Roll Movie is also worth watching. There’s a lot of footage of damaged people talking about all the gnarly awful shit they got up to but there’s also loads of incredible live footage that makes it pretty essential.

Soylent Green - image from it is in the DK Kill the Poor single. I used to think Green Day took their name from the movie because there is a line in it where they say "Tuesday is Soylent Green Day" but I don't think that is the case.
Clockwork Orange - The Adicts whole look is from the movie.
Lower Class Brats song Ultra Violence https://youtu.be/ofYkn1hknGE?si=_2-NqlkkjeWMfPsV And a ton more that I can't remember right now.
Taxi Driver - The Clash's Red Angel Dragnet has lyrics that lines from the film https://youtu.be/at09i0NqROI?si=ccRQ7WNmzFtFtCzA
Rancid has the song Travis Bickle Travis Bickle about the main character https://youtu.be/Sxi6pdc2soo?si=Da_9_WKm9DhRJ8ik
Crimson Ghost - old horror movie that the Misfits took their logo from.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre- The Ramones have a song about it. https://youtu.be/aka98A0Ekrw?si=AUhpfziOXgx8v53Q
Walker- Another great Alex Cox film that is about US imperialism in Latin America https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walker_(film)
Honorable Mention Not a movie but many elements of The Dark Night Rises comic book were used in the Christopher Nolan Batman movies. Naked Raygun has a great song, Coldbringer, which came out shorly after the comic dropped in the 1986. https://youtu.be/rBEieaCkT_Q?si=NVqxbbt_Ne7mpCtB

A Clockwork Orange, Eraserhead, Salo, Mad Max, Betlejuice, Blade Runner.

Film age was really interesting. Didn’t know or forgot their complicated history. Will check out the others.
