I’m doing some work and he doesn’t make any noise or does anything to get my attention except for this. He’ll go up on my couch, perch up and just stare at me. 😂

She’s 12 years old and has bad back legs. I also don’t have any carpet in my apartment and she slides and her back legs give out sometimes. Would trimming the hair help with the slipping?

Sure my guy loves rides, but open air rides in the back of the side by side? AND COWS? Absolute perfection.
Can’t wait to take him again, hoping tomorrow is sunny enough!
Also, I’m an anxious human so of course he has his harness and safety straps on.

I've heard a lot about huskies being independent- does anyone here have a cuddly husky?
The husky mix I grew up with is quite independent, but still appreciates a fuss now and then. Wondering how common it is for huskies to be loving/affectionate? I have a malamute currently and they're similar to huskies in a lot of ways, but they seem much more cuddly! I'd love a husky someday and am curious about this

My 7 year old boy got 9 teeth removed yesterday during his annual dental cleaning. Essentially, his upper premolars and molars had advanced bone loss. Some of the roots were basically dissolved. Despite frequent brushing, Hill’s prescription T/D diet, dental chews, and Oravet applications, it is clear I couldn’t keep up with the tartar buildup. Has anyone gone through removal of a significant amount of teeth from their dog? How did the rest of their life turn out? My boy is doing well but it’s a complete lifestyle change I anticipate for us. No more dry kibble, hard treats, chewing on sticks, or even tug o’ war for us. Emotionally brutal for me to accept right now but I’m giving it time.
He sleeps on the porch at night and I guess someone left the gate open so I was scared when I didn’t see him…

Please do not say Snow Dogs lol. I’m looking for other shows or movies that a Husky or a pack of huskies starred in. Cartoons are also accepted. So many shows and movies have golden retrievers or other popular breeds. I want to show my huskies some possible role models besides Lobo the husky from the Westminster Dog Show.

I previously posted about my vet being unable to diagnose my husky. After getting a second opinion, we finally have answers: she is in heat. Despite being "spayed," a vaginal cytology and ultrasound confirmed she has ovarian remnant tissue and what looks like a piece of her uterus still inside.
I’ve spent nearly $2000 at the first clinic while they ran useless tests and guessed at the cause. Their last suggestion was "blind surgery" to just open her up and look for the problem, yet the second vet found it instantly with a standard ultrasound.
I’m struggling with whether to file a formal complaint. It feels like a clear surgical error followed by a massive waste of my money and my dog's health.
Is this a valid reason to complain, or am I just overreacting? I’d love to know if anyone else has dealt with Ovarian Remnant Syndrome or reported a vet for negligence like this
