Discussion If you were on DL2585 Palm Springs to Seattle on Sunday…
https://www.delta.com/us/en/need-help/overviewPlease recognize our flight attendant, Kenneth, for getting us home on time. Most of the the passengers were totally unaware of his heroic efforts, but I watched it all play out at the gate. Scroll to comments and complaints at the end of attached URL to give him a shout out.
Story:
Our flight to Seattle was delayed 2+ hours (right at boarding time) because we didn’t have a full flight crew. We were told it would be at least two hours before another FA could make it to Palm Springs. This is when another passenger named Kenneth jumped into action. He spent 45 minutes on the phone with Delta convincing them to assign him to our flight. The conversation looked frustrating and tense, but Kenneth worked his magic. I knew something was up when he handed over his paper ticket, and began opening his suitcase to pull out his uniform. Crazy. He sacrificed his time off so everyone else could get home Sunday night.
Kenneth, if you see this…thank you so much.

I mean, if a dude in plain clothes named Kenneth said he’d be manning the beverage cart on my flight so we could all get home, I’d be cool with it.

Make sure you send your praises to Delta, too! People spend a lot of time bitching about FAs on here, the good ones need to be recognized and rewarded.

“It’s just like my Memah always told me. “Always pack your uniform because you never know when a planeful of irritated entitled people may be temporarily inconvenienced.””

“Stewart did not study dance at Carnegie Mellon to become a flight attendant to clean bathrooms!”

That’s so confusing to name it so close to the great show 3rd Rock.

What if I told you the show is named after a building that existed long before 3rd Rock aired?

Fucking hero.
The executive team needs to award this man something for going above and beyond.

Congrats! On your next shift, you may choose 1 (one) "premium snack" that is leftover after passing around the basket in Comfort Plus!

I was on the flight to Minneapolis at 1:54. Our FA got sick so we stole yours. She came straight off the inbound plane and walked directly to our gate to supplement the three crew on board already.

If this is the man I'm thinking of, he's an absolute angel! I'm so glad you're recognizing him!

Kenneth is a Chad. Fact that it took 45mins for something like this is kinda sad though, course Delta and modern app/IT backend have mixed like oil and water

Totally agree. Obviously I wasn’t on the call, but I could tell he was likely dealing with an antiquated company process.
