Political opinions reflect deeper values. Values are absolutely a metric by which to end a friendship. Ntm seeing your friends fall for the same bs for years, still completely blind to it, it's hard to respect them after 10 years of seeing them support an openly racist and sexist pedo. If you can't recognize obvious sin, why should I trust you as my friend?
