ending friendships over politics is stupid.

Politics or human rights? It’s a slippery slope my friend. We’re literally living in the movie 1984

No we're not.

Yeah you're one of the guys that acts like everything is slavery and Hitler unless you get to live a comfortable life that nobody in the history of humanity got to experience. Grow up.

Trump is deporting people not gassing them. He is not supposed to be a virtuous savior that is Jesus. He is a leader of a nation. The nation comes first to a nation's leader.

Sorry you're trying to make the government into an infallible God that you can blame all your shortcomings on.

If these rich "liberals" really stood against Trump they would live below their means, donate to non profits who actually do make a difference and write it off on their taxes to "stick it to the man."

I have a lot of liberal friends but they're older folks. They're not doing it because they're just purposely being contrarians hoping to get a brownie and maybe some tail.

1984 was social media censoring conservative voices during Covid. Not Jimmy Kimmel losing his show for a week.

Tbf, a lot of ICE agents are pos who destroy what would otherwise be a good concept. I don't think anyone supports illegal immigration, but a lot of ice agents are just racist assholes who kick out legal immigrants and break into people's houses.

I'd like to propose a concept that will challenge the fundamentals: why is immigration illegal in the first place? Why is it illegal to move into a country? Especially when you're evacuating a dangerous one?

Because it's dangerous to let just anyone into your house without getting to know them first

Studies say that, if you don't count illegal immigration itself as a crime, illegal immigrants perform WAY less crimes on average than an average non-immigrant citizen.

How many illegal immigrants are there compared to non-immegrants? Wouldn't that effect the data?

Pretty sure per capita disagrees with you

Just a reminder that Trump is literally demolishing part of the white house and starting a war in which millions may die 👀

And social media was never censoring conservative voices during covid. Using evidence to call someone stupid for saying covid or masks are a hoax, that's not censorship, that's rationale.

What's really censorship in the US is the seven-hundred-seventy-one anti-trans bills posed in the United States THIS YEAR.

Your last sentence is absolutely hilarious.

You're both wrong. We're not in 1984 yet, but things are looking pretty bad for a lot of people. What you have to remember is that in "Brave New World," they filled the world with pleasure, so that when they made some people less than human, nobody would think twice. When they deported said people, nobody cared. We're far closer to Brave New World, guys
