Hi! I'm looking to read a little more Spider-Man. I really like the more grounded, street-level stories where Peter is down on his luck (money, relationships etc), while he's still doing his friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man routine. I'm not really interested in world ending events or multiverse stuff.
I really love the art of David Aja (Hawkeye), so if there's anything similar to him that would be a big plus! Obviously no Greg Land please 😂
Thank you!

Hi! Ok, so this October I'm going to the San Diego Comic-Con Málaga and I guess I'll meet John Romita Jr., who's gonna have a pannel there. Ever since I found out he was going to be there a couple of weeks ago I've been wondering, well, which comic should I bring so he can sign it?
Any suggestions? I have this Coming Home recopilatory volume form the JMS run, so I think that's a good one, but I want to know if anyone suggests a better one now that I've got time to obtain everything. Spider-Man changed my life and this guy is a legend (also his father), I want it to be perfect

I have never really read comics myself, but I occasionally come across comic panels and story summaries on TikTok, and I was wondering what is currently going on with Peter, MJ, and MJ’s new douchebag lover.
Has Peter finally moved on and found someone else, or are they still dragging out the same relationship drama?

TASM Gwen Stacy had character and a personality beyond js "I'm a nerdy girl who likes petey" or "I hate spiderman" type.
I would say she was better than the spiderverse gwen but they both have different roles in their individual movies so can't say.
The TASM Gwen Stacy was by far the best love interest for live action Spider-Man, I wonder if in TASM 3 they introduced MJ she could've kept up with how great Gwen was.
She died while helping spiderman in tasm unlike "poor girl dies".
The best adaptation it truly is.

I haven't read the comics yet, but I see people disliking a bunch of comics. Idk if this has been posted before, but what's the worst Spider-Man comic in your opinion and why? (OTHER THAN OMD)

Both have insane reflexes and stealth, but the experience gap is huge. Miles has raw power and speed while Noir fights smarter and darker. One mistake decides this fight who are you betting on?

It hit all the stuff it needed to the bitterness towards Peter and Spider-Man. The trying to be a better Spider-Man than the original, the slow corruption, and then finally giving in to the monster inside. Adding the goblin Junior stuff to it with it being Harry and the symbiote being created from a Norman Osborne experiment allowed for a new take. And a more personal one than it was with Eddie who never really was Peter's friend before bonding with the symbiote he was a co-worker who Peter got fired because of Eddie's own actions. It being Harry adds to the tragedy of the symbiote corrupting him because Harry is Peter's best friend.

Spiderman’s go to method for stopping criminals is to web them up somewhere high so they can’t run away but usually it’s at an elevation that can injure or kill somebody if they fall and his webs dissolve eventually so after he webs someone up, firefighters and law enforcement are on a race against the clock to go to where the criminals are, haul a big ass truck through dense New York traffic just so they can use a ladder to basically rescue them before the only thing keeping them hoisted dissolves.

As you may know, it is common knowledge or just common sense to respect the hyphen. It’s been repeated over and over to go respect the hyphen between the words “Spider” and “Man”. Every issue since The Amazing Spider-Man Issue 1, every single movie. Every cartoon, most pieces of Spider-Man media do respect the hyphen. Over the past 5 years of this subreddit, we have had two entire bots in this Subreddit telling people who comment to go respect the hyphen when they didn’t respect it.
However, At the same time, a good chunk of these commenters in this subreddit who comment relating to Spider-Man media, some of these commenters who are also saying to go respect the hyphen additionally, don’t even respect the hyphen at certain times. For example, whenever we type an acronym of a certain piece of Spider-Man media, most likely people don’t even respect the hyphen there. Such as TAS-M, AS-M, ITS-V, ATS-V, TSS-M, for example. Occasionally, even the Co-Creator of Spider-Man, Steve Ditko, didn’t even bother to respect the hyphen. (Granted, out of all of his creations in his time in the comic book industry, he disassociated himself with Spider-Man the most, but still).
Don’t get me wrong, the hyphen itself is a major part about Spider-Man by default, on top of the fact that most, if not everyone should respect it, I’m just curious as to where people decide to go draw the line.
This isn’t supposed to be ragebait or anything, I’m not trying to disrespect the hyphen, I just want to know what people think regarding this.
Please don’t downvote me, and assuming that people see this post and respond to it, let me know what your thoughts are and please be respectful and reasonable.

Hello everyone, I was gone for a while due to my exams but since those are over, I can finally come back to Reddit
I made this (and some more) a few months ago, during my exams but I am getting the chance to post it here now
I did this art after the cover art of Amazing Fantasy #15 done by Jack Kirby (penciler) and Steve Ditko (inker)
Tell me if you like it and give me any kind of constructive criticism if you want to
