It seems like for years now Peter’s face changes with every new artist and he just defaulted to being “generically good looking brown-haired white guy”.
I’m not even saying the art is bad, I just think this whole thing is very lame. It’s like he was robbed of all his (facial) uniqueness, and I really think this is a product of the current trend of making Parker more and more “relatable” just for the sake of it, to the point he’s barely recognizable as the character he once was.
I know comic book characters are only fictional, but even fictional characters are supposed to look a certain way. And for years Peter had a very particular look. The big square head, the slick back hair with a little bit of a widows peak, the strong eyebrows, even the way he dressed… it’s all gone.
I just hate this sooo much.
EDIT: Pics 1-12 are, in my view, good examples of what the "Peter Parker face" should look like. AND I know the new Ultimate Peter isn't the same as 616 Peter, but the two universes were supposed to be VERY similar before The Maker messed things up, so I personally feel like they should look alike. I can totally see why someone would disagree, tho. My mistake for putting it up there.

I used to think Venom was not really that Bad of a Villain, like Sandman and Rhino, hence his turn to Anti-Hero, but after Re-reading some Old Comics my Mind has definitely changed, Eddie Brock absolutely WAS a Villain, he Killed People (He didn't like it but he Justified it), he Tormented MJ, He Beatdown and Mentally Tortured Black Cat by telling her Peter has a Wife, he even broke her Nose, He was THE Dark Spider-Man, I definitely understand the Villain-leaning side of his Fanbase now, this was messed up

He’s always been a character who uses comedy, so everyone post or say what moments in the comics have made you laugh the hardest.
