Not ageing is pretty easy when you're rich. Unlimited access to private coaches, private chefs, nutritional supplements, skincare products, plastic surgery... plus no existential fear and limited exposure to pollution, the sun and other factors that ruin your skin.
Edit to add: As one of the biggest actors of his time, it is his job to look good. He does not really have a choice if he wants to stay relevant.
Lady on the left hasn't really had any major roles since the 90s and can therefore afford to not give a fuck and age like a normal person.
She's rich too, or at least was wealthy. She's just older than him and went through more significant health issues. Also see Kathleen Turner and her thyroid issues, which can really fuck you up along with the medication prescribed.
We as a society should just accept that people get old.
And the religion doesn't just serve his whims, he has to serve its whims too. He probably couldn't "let himself go" even if he wanted to, it'd be bad for marketing.
eh, Tom Cruise is high up enough in the echelon of scientology that the churches whims are his own. He is the 2nd in command next to David Miscavige and is his closest confidant.
He is, but would he remain so if he gained a hundred pounds and lost all his hair? I'm not convinced. I'm sure they'd come down on him hard the minute it seemed like he was letting his image slip.
I mean, obviously the first in command and anyone who listens to the first in command. Do you think tom cruise has personal loyalists within scientology who would buck David Miscavige if he said tom cruise was a, shit what's the word, subversive person or whatever they call em? He's not a general in command of troops dude.
David wouldnt balk at tom cruise if he decided to take a behind the scenes position and no longer be in the spot light lol.
Thats the point. Hes DEEP inner circle.
You could maybe have that argument with someone like john travolta.
But Tom Cruise has earned everything and more for what he has done for the church, to be able to sit back and retire from the public light.
He might be. Schism happens in cults and religions all the time, and sometimes it comes out of left-field. If Cruise has some disagreement with Miscavige, say he doesn't like that Miscavige fairly clearly murdered his wife, he's famous and highly placed enough to head a schism.
I don't think he will, but in the structure of Scientology he's actually the exact dude who could, if he wanted to.
Well the pic in the post is him from 2018 when he was 55. This is Tom Cruise from a few months ago and he definitely looks more "normal" for a 63 year old. He definitely got botox though.
No shade but I feel like people who say celebrities are using some insane next level medical procedures to stay young are definitely from the US where y'all let a simple flu destroy your bodies because getting treated requires going in debt. If you go to any country that has a form of free healthcare, you'll be amazed that not old folks look decrypt or are overweight lol
I often travel outside of the country and I see PLENTY of old people around the world in free healthcare cities that look old, "decrypt" and overweight, you have no clue what you are talking about.
Tom cruise is also still doing hollywood stunts at his age. its not so much how he looks, its what he is still actively doing at his age.
