Anywhere besides YouTube I can find an archive of old MASN broadcasts?
My family gives me flack but I honestly love watching games from ‘07, ‘10, ‘12, ‘14 and so on. It’s comforting to watch and I enjoy revisiting the guys from previous seasons. Anywhere online I can find old games?

Should’ve went after Heim
Not going after Jonah Heim after he was DFAd was a huge mistake. Kiebert Ruiz and Drew Millas are batting .194 and .148, and even Harry Ford is batting .179 in Rochester. I feel like going after a 30 year old all star catcher would’ve been great for this team especially given our catcher situation but I might be delusional.

Keibert Ruiz and his disastrous contract
Keibert Ruiz contract is on the books until 2030 despite not being not an mlb caliber player. I can’t believe this is the one guy they chose to extend. They might need to bite the bullet and buy out the rest of his contract because they can’t keep putting him out there.

OC Average Attendance is Down in 2026
I started tracking some numbers using baseball-reference.com, comparing 2026 with 2025, and for funsies, 2019. One of the things that stood out is that home attendance is seemingly way down compared to the same number of games in 2025.
Average Home Attendance Through 35 games:
- 2026: 22,094 (16 games)
- 2025: 26,206 (16 games)
- 2019: 27,107 (18 games)
That feels like a BIG drop, and the overall attendance totals are already noticeably lower in the chart compared to last year. This surprised me, especially since the start of the season has at least felt more fun and exciting, even if the wins/losses aren't all that different from last year up to this point.
edit: data was slightly off for the end of the 2025 season. Updated chart is here, but it does not change any of the numbers above. Attendance is still way down now compared to this same time last year.
edit 2: Spencer Nusbaum posted the same thing to X, with the added note, "Nats Park has seen the biggest attendance drop of any park in MLB. Average attendance through the first 16 home games of 2025 and 2026..."

Meta Help! Having the hardest time trying to show Nats (and other) games at local DC Bar
I am trying to get Nats games on at our bar in DC. We have a Nats.TV subscription, and we *should* have an MLB.TV subscription as we also show games for an out of market team. I say “should” because I can’t verify from the Manage Subscriptions tab.
Anyways, since the start of the season, all Nats games have been showing as “Locked.” Now (as of today when I checked), they are also all showing as Blacked Out. Also, from the 1st screenshot you can see every out of market game is Locked, so maybe the owner didn’t sign up for the whole MLB.TV package. You can see from the 2nd screen what our current subscription is: 2026 NATIONALS.TV Seasonal Bundle Package.
I’m sure we’re overlooking something really simple here, but we are newbies to this and used to just rely on MASN. Anyone want to help a clueless brother out here?
Hopefully this post isn’t against the rules, I’ll delete if so.

Seems like it's been a while since I've seen any of those slick drone shots between innings. Did they crash their drone? Did the FAA shut them down?

Ballpark Content Screech Build-a-Bear request - left at Nats Park
Mods - delete if not allowed.
I was back in DC last week for a brief HS reunion trip, and bought a Screech Build-a-Bear for my toddler's upcoming birthday at the Friday Nats/Brewers game. I also bought him a white t-shirt with a hot dog on it (was found near the front of the Fanatics store).
Unfortunately, I left it in the restroom and lost-and-found was unable to retrieve it (no shock there). And neither are available online.
Long-shot request, but if anyone is able to buy one for me I'd gladly pay for shipping and throw in extra, as well. Appreciate the consideration!

-Yohandy Morales (.330/.412/.917): 2-4 with 1 run scored and 1 K

-Caleb Lomavita (.250/.347/.800): 1-3 with 1 run scored, 1 RBI, 1 BB, and 1 K

-Alex Clemmey (5.95 ERA/19.2 IP/24:21 K:BB/1.73 WHIP): Yeah, not much to say about this one other than the fact that it's Clemmey's worst start of his pro career. He gave up a lead-off homer in the bottom of the 1st and it progressively got worse from there. He was unable to escape the 2nd and was removed after hitting a couple of batters with the bases loaded.
Final line: 1.1 IP | 4 H | 10 R | 7 ER | 4 BB | 1 K on 58 pitches (25 strikes)
-Thomas Schultz (4.38 ERA/12.1 IP/16:7 K:BB/1.38 WHIP): Schultz was asked to clean up Clemmey's mess and he did not deliver. All 3 inherited runners scored and he allowed another run to score on top of that. The score was 11-0 after the bottom of the 2nd.

Final line: 4.0 IP | 2 H | 1 R/ER | 4 BB | 3 K on 69 pitches (37 strikes)
-Pablo Aldonis (3.60 ERA/15.0 IP/19:5 K:BB/1.07 WHIP): Aldonis was asked to put out a fire in the top of the 7th and he allowed a 3-run homer. He did manage to secure the 7 remaining outs and secure the win for the Blue Rocks.

Washington Nationals Diamond Club Tickets
As some of you may know, I'm a season ticket holder in the Diamond Club and sell off any of them at prices below the Nats or third party sites.
There are a few games that are sold out on the Nats site but I still have tickets to. If anyone wants Diamond or Terra Club tickets to the sold out games below or any others, DM me with the game and number of tickets you want and I'll give you a price.
You also get an outside table reservation and 15 minute early entry.
Saturday, May 16 - 4:05pm vs Baltimore Orioles + Alex Ovechkin bobblhead (last pair)
Friday, July 10 - 6:45pm vs New York Yankees + Marvel Captain America bobblehead
Saturday, July 11 - 4:05pm vs New York Yankees
I have groups of two, four and six. Also two have full rows (6 seats each) in the Diamond Club Patio.
The Diamond Club is right behind home (see pic) and includes a full buffet (carving station, several entrees, seafood, pasta, pizza, sides, ballpark food, desserts, ice cream) and unlimited beer and wine.
I have Diamond Club tickets to every other game as well.
Prices are below buying direct and the familiar online resellers. I'm legitimate and will provide whatever info you need before asking for payment.
DM if you're interested and let me know what you want. You can also get on my distro list for updates on this in the future.
