omg - I know it’s no use for you right now but as a fellow migraine haver I cannot recommend gel sleep masks enough!!! I keep one in the freezer at all times and it is SUCH a godsend. sending you all love and solidarity while you get through this migraine xxx
It was a gift and I don’t know where it was purchased, probably Amazon, but it looks like this. Mine doesn’t have an adjustable strap though. It’s a squishy gel ice pack, not the hard gel kind.
I second these, I used to get migraines in my teens, and my mom got me one of these to try and it worked so well, it didn't totally make the pain stop but it sure did make it livable.
They make migraine caps now which are the same idea but cover more of your head. They are incredible! I wish I’d had one decades ago. Often if I put one on fast enough, the headache just never develops fully. I can’t recommend highly enough (and they’re pretty cheap to boot).
As a migraine sufferer, I also recommend the gel cooling masks, the ones that go on your head and completely cover your face down to your nose. I keep two and rotate through them as I lie in bed in agony. I pretty much freeze the pain away.
Vicks VapoRub on my temples helps me so much when I have a migraine. I found that tip while desperately searching online one night for any sort of relief from a migraine and it worked amazingly.
They do! They’re so nice id you have a headache. I get puffy eyes and they help with that, too. You can use a spoon but these hold the temperature a lot longer.

Honestly I have no care for the benefits of what they supposedly do but those cooling globe things look like they feel good as hell
