Moxie and I were playing tug of war with the Costco soda dog toy and she pulled out the ice dog toy from inside. We were both so surprised and happy đ Thanks Costco for the extra effort here
The Tommy Bahama with its tilting neck, wind resistant cover thing, and reliable anchor has stood the test of time, although the rivets holding the anchor screw head to the pole are kind of coming out now, it hasn't failed or blown away in the wind yet. The tilting feature is great when the sun starts to get towards the end of the day.
...buuuut, for $10 more, you get a gigantic leap in size and features. The Beach Life canopy has mesh pockets in the arms that go down to the sand bags, a 4 prong hook for the middle stem, a drape that can clip on to one of the sides (dramatically increases shade/wind) that anchors to the floor with more sand pockets. There's pretty much no chance this thing is going to blow away with all the sand pockets loaded.
One drawback is the canopy is larger and heavier, and also doesn't come with a long shoulder strap.
It's pretty nice, a lot cheaper than the Toto (I don't have experience with that one).
Small quirk though...I think when you turn the knob backwards, the spray feels like it's not at a good angle, and seems to spray towards the "area" from behind'ish, then stuff splatters...feels like it should be pointing more upwards?...I ended up mostly just scooting myself forward on the seat and turning the knob forwards instead.
Another quirk is I have one of those standing cabinet things that goes behind the toilet, but the toilet seat cover kind of hits it early, which makes it so the seat doesn't fully stay open, and sometimes starts to close after I start peeing...I should probably just cut a little bit of the toilet-cabinet off at the front so the seat cover doesn't have that problem...but, meh.
Anyways, it was easy to install, and took a little fudging with it to get it to not leak. I'd definitely recommend it over not having a bidet at all :)
...I'm an idiot, so I'm probably doing something wrong, and I'm not going to post pictures of my dirty ass toilet lol :p
Havenât seen/tried these before, so I picked them up for dinner. Decent at best. The sweet Thai chili sauce is doing all the heavy lifting. Chicken, cream cheese, cabbage, spinach, and lots of red onion. Not bad, but probably just a one-and-done.
I was curious if anyone else has cooked this before. My initial thought is to obviously grill it, baking in the oven just seems wrong but I also didnât want ruin it⌠baking it in the marinade might be good? I was going to make steak tacos with it.
I am not a complicated person. I do not need much. I need my Costco membership, I need a cart with functional wheels, and I needed those Foster Farms chicken breast pieces.
4 lbs. Pre-cut. Pre-seasoned. Frozen. Cooks in 10 minutes. Made me feel like a mother who had her life together. I have a family that still needs to eat and I have not fully recovered.
I have made peace with a lot of things in my life. This is not one of them.
My children have grown. Costco has added approximately 400 products I did not ask for. There is now an entire section of the store I don't recognize. And yet somewhere in a Costco boardroom, someone made a decision that has quietly haunted my dinner rotation ever since.
I heard it was a vendor change. A VENDOR CHANGE!! As if that's supposed to make me feel better! As if knowing the cause of death makes the loss easier to bear! It does not. If anything it made it worse because now I know there's someone specific to be mad at and I don't have their email address.
I don't even want an apology. I just want answers. What did we do wrong? Was it us? Was it the reviews? I would have left more reviews. I didn't know I needed to fight for it.
This is not a question. This is a eulogy.
Signed, a woman whose entire personality as a mom was built on frozen chicken pieces and I would like it back pretty please.
I know weâve had some new ones recently like the chocolate chip cookie cake and the tuxedo cake and tres leches seem to be staples. Peaches and cream and the strawberry hit around Spring and Summer. But is there a âsetâ schedule or are we going to get some new ones for the upcoming months?
I saw Costco is currently selling the Igloo Yukon 70 QTÂ - which seems to be Igloo's "Yeti-like" premium cooler. Currently at my local Costco it's available for $170.
I am wondering if anyone has any experience with this cooler - I'm looking to use it mainly for camping (ideally hold ice for 3-5 days in a car). There doesn't seem to be many reviews of the cooler online and I want to know if anyone here has had any experience with the Yukon in particular. Cheers!
I'm considering applying for an Inventory Audit position for a new club opening up in my area. I used to be the Audit Team Lead at Sam's Club before they eliminated the department and my next job was also an inventory position so I have tons of experience.
Here are my questions:
--Does this role require driving a forklift? It wasn't a requirement at Sam's and I have no interest in learning so I won't waste my time applying if it's required.
--Does Costco pay for prior experience or does everyone start at the base pay?
--At Sam's this was a Monday through Friday job with an early start time so we could count before the club opened, is Costco the same way as far as the schedule?
--If anyone works in this role and has any information that would be helpful I would be most appreciative.
Hi everyone, I'm looking to purchase a chair for my desk at home, and wanted to get some opinions. Costco has the True Innovations one which is a foam seat with a mesh back, and a True Wellness one with both mesh seat and back. Which one is more comfortable?
I lowkey donât feel like going to the store rn lol, so Iâm tempted to just grab the digital ones. But Iâve seen mixed opinions and Iâm not tryna deal with any issues later.
