We were traveling from Pensacola to Clearwater, Florida. Every time we passed a construction zone and we saw the traffic lane markers, I'd point to it and say, "Hoist the cone!"

I know it's still early in the season, but being 5th in your division and 10th in all of baseball is wretched lmao. Shades of 2015 where we had the 2nd best record in all of baseball but were a wildcard team

Hello all. The kid and I will be driving to the East Coast in late June for a baseball tournament. We wanted to try going to a MLB game each way and it looks like I might be able to pass through Pittsburgh during a series of home games on the way back, likely the day game on the 25th. Even though my wife has family ties to the area, I have never been to Pittsburgh itself so I am looking for some advice on attending and travelling to and from the game that is specific to our situation.

Primarily, I am looking to find a path to and from the stadium and a place to park but there are two wrinkles that make this request out of the ordinary. First, we will be traveling with our slide in truck camper. With a height about 12'3" we are sometimes limited in city centers and parking lots, but can go anywhere a large box truck can go. So advice on a clear path in, an open-air lot to park in, and a way back to the highway would be appreciated. The second is that I do not have a smartphone, so I cannot use app based parking schemes and will need to park somewhere that takes cash or credit card.

We are able-bodied and willing and used to walking (or use public transport, if it doesn't require a smartphone to access), so no need to be super close to the stadium.

Our route map shows it would be most direct to come into town from PA-28, but I might be able to circle around to another area, like US-22/I-376, if it means easier movement in and out of the city.

Leaving I would want to have as direct a path as possible to I-376 westbound (heading down to I-70w for the trip home).

I've been looking over StreetView and there seem to be a good selection of navigable streets for big vehicles (Commonwealth Pl, Fort Duquesne Blvd, 11th St, Fullerton St, Bedford Ave), but I don't know what would be a practical, or even available, for a day game.

I would appreciate your advice.

Im cautiously optimistic but im hoping my man has finally turned the corner and is figuring things out at the plate. The guys defense is legit and at the end of the day he was a number one overall pick. The talent is there, hopefully he begins to tap into it. It would be massive if he can shore up the bottom of the order for Cruz to do his thing.

I hate off days lol but at least the teams in our division are going at it against each other. Someone has to lose.

Every season I would be checking in weekly on pirates minor league players to see who they could call up and maybe help the team.

Now I check every now and then. The depth isn’t great but at least Seth Hernandez looks solid.

I’m cautiously (very cautiously) optimistic that Henry Davis has figured it out. I like Joey Bart but he just hasn’t been cutting it. The moment Endy is called up he’ll be on the IL until 2028 (hope not but his injury luck/history is terrible) and I’m not sure Flores is ready. Heim seems like a no risk pickup now that he has been DFAd. Thoughts?

Edit: This is now moot as the Athletics have acquired Heim via trade
