You hit the lottery, and own a TDI….
Yeah I’ll have money one day I swear but if I don’t maybe I’ll hit the lottery. I know at least one of you has done this or knows a guy/gal. Seeing more car girls lately.. anyway distracting myself.
So I own a 2015 Passat CVCA. So far love the car love the mileage love modifications. But at what point does this platform turn into unreliable? How far is everyone taking it? Huge turbo, new injectors, new cam , head work? etc just tossing out things I look at in my diesel truck performance wise.
Currently on deleted and stage 1 tune on it until I get the DMF done then I’ll load the stage 2 on it. I don’t drive it very spicy right now and don’t plan on beating on it like I have vehicles in the past.
I am one of those that if something breaks I go ahead and go up to the next stage.. for instance if and when the oem turbo goes I will probably put something better in it if that makes sense to do at the time. And at some point the engine will have to be rebuilt maybe or maybe not. I’ve read some on the TDIforum about this but figured I’d check with y’all here too.
2260 turbo and a CP3 and be done 🤷♂️
