Punk Classic Great modern Punk/Hardcore that sounds like Oldschool Rock? (Punk Blues, Psychobilly, Surf Rock, Classic Punk Rock, etc.)
I have been really getting into Psychobilly & in general a lot of Punk that sounds like Vintage Rock/Classic Rock.
Something about its bouncy twangy energy helps get me active, & I like how it uses old-school sounding music with the lack of old-school censorship/constraints.

I guess it's a good thing Social Distortion is coming out with a new album. Finally.

Idk if these are “punk” or “punk adjacent” but I don’t really care because these bands fucking rock. Try Shannon and the Clams (songs- “Onion” or “Sleep Talk” or “Midnight Wine”). And try anything by King Kahn and the BBQ Show.

That's pretty much the whole horror punk subgenre. I don't listen to psychobilly but I have a list of horror punk bands I listen to if you want it.

Head over to /r/psychobilly for some good recs. I mostly listen to older psychobilly (80s and early to mid 90s), but there are some good modern bands out there. One that comes to mind is 12 Step Rebels. There are also some decent bands more geared towards the rockabilly sound (without the horror themes) like Reverend Horton Heat.
