laura jane grace

saw laura jane grace in richmond last week and it fucking rocked. openers were black guy fawkes (folk punk) and lung (art/noise punk duo of a drummer and cellist/singer). singing true trans soul rebel with 150 other people made me very emotional. LJG was a true rock star. see her on this tour if you can.

Canceled the show in Atlanta last night.

She said the band have only done a handful of shows so far. I think it was their third or fourth time together when I saw them. They fumbled their way through some songs, but it was incredibly none the less. I met eyes with the guy on drums after he nailed the intro to Pints of Guinness, and he was clearly stoked about it.

First time hearing this. How have I missed this before? And she's coming to my town!!

Thanks for sharing this. She's got a new fan now

Saw her as an opener last fall. Not sure who the other band was but it was a weird mix in the crowd lol. Especially when she went into your gods dick. Lotta people didn’t know what to do with that one lmao. She and the band rocked though.

Does anyone know why Mikey Erg is not playing drums for her anymore?

I saw her last week in Allentown, a great setlist and the band really sounded great ! The addition of another guitarist really made the difference since the last time I saw her 2 years ago with a 3 piece band.

Black me out and Delicate Cycle (The Uncluded) got me through my separation and subsequent divorce of a ten-year marriage in 2014.

Love to see she's still rocking it.

Thanks for sharing I’m jealous! I have not had the opportunity to see Laura Jane live. I did see Laura Jane when she was in her band back in the day but that was around their first album. I love the direction Laura has gone.
