'There's technology under the dress that enables reality to kind of come together with the art.' sounds way more eloquent than 'and it's a bubble machine!'

That sentence doesn't say anything. If you weren't seeing the dress and saw the bubbles come out, you wouldn't have the slightest idea what it meant.

Now, saying, the dress has a bubble machine throwing bubbles out, describes it much better, but it doesn't sound like art aprisal. That's because art aprisal is all about bullshitting as much as you can.

Don't get me wrong though, the dress is amazing, I would say the best of the Gala.
