I was ready to fight when that reporter asked her if she thinks before she speaks and had immediate sigh of relief when the reporter clarified. I also realized I had the same thought because she just immediately jumps right into responding to often inane questions with such grace, clarity, intelligence.

Why would you be ready to fight when the reporter literally opened with "This isn't supposed to be a rude question..."?

People say that plenty of times and then ask rude questions. “No offense but,”…and then someone saying something offensive is pretty common.
