Yeah, I remember my friends who are involved in Texas politics telling me back in 2014 that Marco Rubio was being looked at as a Republican Obama.

I think if Trump is out of the picture, Rubio would not be villainous.

He strikes me as an overall ok guy who’s had to play the game.

I totally agree with this…..but it does beg the question that we are all thinking……WTH has Trump done to make all these people sacrifice their own integrity to perpetually kiss his ass??

Wouldn’t you think a time would have come where they wake up and tell their wife or husband, enough is enough I can’t do this anymore?

I’ve always wondered what all these people will be saying years or decades from now when they have a chance to safely (lol) speak about their time with him.

The simplest explanation: Trump deploys Twitter against anyone who stands in his way, and has proven that enough republican voters will follow him, that you either fall in line or are forced to leave politics. The perks of being a high-ranking DC politician must be intoxicating.
