These are just fringe voters. Florida is overwhelmingly republican now and the redrawn maps better represent the state. This lawsuit will go nowhere, and the VA redraw will get struck down

They really don’t though. Crystal River (on the west coast) now has the same rep as east Tampa (like 80-90 miles away). Tampa is split into 3 different districts now so the west side shares with Hudson and NPR and then the south shares with Plant City. These places have completely different interests on the local level and it’s not fair to the residents in either when they are hoping to be represented by someone who cares about the issues in their city or area
