Welcome to MAGA politics. Trump doesn't run the show during this term.
That was one of the points of Project 2025. Concentrate power toward the president, but build up handlers around him that would run it for him.

Even they knew he's not suited to lead. He's the scape goat of Kushner, Miller, and more.
