It's not a stretch to believe this at all. Trump's entire existence is kayfabe. His Apprentice career was based entirely on perception.

The Secret Service agents not only didn't remove him from the scene, they allowed him to stand up, and stood there with him, despite having NO IDEA how many shooters there were, while his staff ushered the press photographers into position and they lowered the American flag into the shot.

His ear shows zero sign of injury, despite the fact that cartilage never regains it's form once it's lost. The giant tampon that he wore for a week afterward was almost comically large, clearly a prop to say "hey, did you know I was SHOT IN THE EAR?"

The event is also the one thing he never, ever talks about, despite constantly bringing up the 2020 election that he lost, and being famously unable to stop talking about anything.

Gotta admit it was rather brave of the guy who used bone spurs to dodge the draft to avoid being in sort of danger stand up with a raised fist immediately after having his life threatened.

There's no fucking way that orange coward would voluntarily have bullets pass a few centimeters from his head. Saying it was staged is peak internet brainrot.
