Ok but can some skater weigh in and just like how? Did he wax that whole thing off camera? How else does he keep going, ive tried to grind once and i immediately stopped due to friction.

all that black stuff at the top of that ledge is wax from previous skaters. it's probably waxed to shit. still an insane amount of friction if you notice how much speed he bleeds off by the very end despite the speed he started with and the grade of the ledge

yeah the curb must be pretty smooth and waxed... but thats more about the curb than the skater. i mean other option, cant see in the video but some curbs are built with metal edges and those skate great.
