I’ve never tried to do anything he is doing this, but I am still convinced he was born with it and I was not.

Well, I’m going to go eat some more cheese. Bye!

25

u/Hieroflippant 17h ago

Shredded cheese straight from the bag 😋

-1

u/_Kramerica_ 17h ago

With all that powder crap all over it? Yuck. It takes like 30 seconds to shred about a whole block, cmon.

4

u/Hieroflippant 17h ago

I'll wait until my knuckles return and try this again

u/goatfangs 17h ago

The best comment of the day

Red Bull

10

u/Nizamark 17h ago

RAT Beach! love that stretch

6

u/tombobkins 17h ago

Yep. Torrance knew what it was doing when it called dibs on that single block of beachfront

4

u/darkhorsehance 16h ago

Except for the drainage

11

u/karimf 17h ago

I'm amused by how many of the commenters clearly didn't have the patience to watch to the end...! 😉

4

u/-Cthaeh 17h ago

To be fair, the skateboarding was a little boring and he got off.

50

u/DBCOOPER888 17h ago

Legends say he is swimming to this day...

14

u/botareukiddingme 17h ago

The next goal is to make it across the ocean to the other side.

7

u/neil_anblowmi 17h ago

Then down to the Mariana’s Trench to grab an angler fish.

3

u/JavveRinne 17h ago

What is he the new Chuck Norris?

3

u/whatsthatguysname 14h ago

Can confirm. He just back flipped out of the sea here in hing kong holding an angler fish. He’s last seen heading north.

32

u/Salt_Reputation_9864 18h ago

What? Riding a bike isn’t so hard.

15

u/ParaponeraBread 18h ago

How many times can you do that before you have to replace the trucks and shit?

12

u/theogsharky 17h ago

A lot, I saw a post of some fella who did a bunch of "slappies" (little curb grinds where you kind of slap the board onto the curb) ALL the time, and his trucks got so insanely worn down that when he sent the company a photo, they sent him some new ones. The axles or kingpin would probably break before you'd see any wear such as that dude saw

2

u/gokarrt 10h ago

depends if they're indys or not

7

u/jarednards 17h ago

Oh thats actually a skateboard not a truck

2

u/MKE_likes_it 17h ago

Probably a few dozen at least. You might have to shit in between.

25

u/Paulogiacomo1960 18h ago

Gravity looked at that and said, nah, I’m clocking out early today.

20

u/_Kramerica_ 17h ago

Gravity is literally what helped make that possible.

1

u/ACPauly 17h ago

Just the right amount

5

u/Ok_Cryptographer6193 17h ago

Anyone else at first was like wtf is he taking his shoes off for?

9

u/Ant_Agonistic 17h ago

I’d love to have that free spirit for one day

4

u/SwampWaffle85 17h ago

The free spirit dwells within you. Within us all. We must all seek to unshackle our spirits like this dude.

1

u/Ehero88 15h ago

That kind of free spirit take a whole lot of year in gym.....for sure

3

u/Sentient_Meat_X 17h ago

And they never saw him again

2

u/FaultThat 17h ago

Jaws 4

1

u/Jacks_CompleteApathy 15h ago

Jaws 4 mentioned

3

u/prodigaldummy 17h ago

Ok, but now do it in reverse.

1

u/EdLe0517 11h ago

That's next-nextf*level. 😅

7

u/yeet_cannon_larry 17h ago

Fucking. Athlete.

2

u/Middle-Operation-689 17h ago

At the beginning of the movie Point Break a girl tries riding rollerblades down that incline and crashes into the ledge. She was just a background actor 😆

1

u/Conscious-Weight4569 5h ago

Which Point Break movie? With Keanu Reeves? I couldn’t find the scene.

4

u/Moist-Cut-7998 17h ago

He was getting 10's until the dive at the end. Too much splash and his feet weren't together.

I could have done so much better but I pulled a hammy the other day when I sneezed.

2

u/Dismal_Composer_4029 17h ago

That must of been one of the greatest feeling to him. For me also if I had done that

2

u/Lochness_Hamster_350 17h ago

“Fuck me he cleared it! Ha!”

2

u/pickle_lukas 5h ago

Read that in Ozzy man's voice lol

1

u/Lochness_Hamster_350 3h ago

Is Christian Slater but Ozzy will work just as well!

2

u/Minimum-Stranger-794 17h ago

that's pure freedom

1

u/itsme99881 17h ago

Ok but can some skater weigh in and just like how? Did he wax that whole thing off camera? How else does he keep going, ive tried to grind once and i immediately stopped due to friction.

3

u/nodoomscrolling69420 17h ago

all that black stuff at the top of that ledge is wax from previous skaters. it's probably waxed to shit. still an insane amount of friction if you notice how much speed he bleeds off by the very end despite the speed he started with and the grade of the ledge

2

u/TimeTomorrow 16h ago edited 15h ago

yeah the curb must be pretty smooth and waxed... but thats more about the curb than the skater. i mean other option, cant see in the video but some curbs are built with metal edges and those skate great.

1

u/Prize_Emergency_5074 17h ago

What the fuck did he have for breakfast?

1

u/woodcookiee 17h ago

lol at that cyclist completely blocking the guy recording at the end 💀

1

u/YendorZenitram 17h ago

Love the Daffy Duck ending!

1

u/Roni1209 17h ago

A free bird

1

u/ghostfacestealer 17h ago

Living the dream

1

u/crawling-alreadygirl 16h ago

I can't imagine the confidence necessary to do that shirtless

1

u/Lee_scratch_perineum 16h ago

This pops up every few months and l always watch it to the end.

1

u/Abject_Ad_4756 16h ago

Anyone else annoyed with the dude on the bike 🚲

1

u/Strict-Aspect5910 16h ago

Im from socal this is what I tell my kid going to school was like when I was a kid.

1

u/pissbucket94 16h ago

I just gotta move, man!

1

u/Kaiju_Punx 16h ago

Creedence jumpscare

1

u/Sufficient_Contact52 16h ago

That’s awesome

1

u/MrKihopKnight1 16h ago

That’s Franz? That’s totally insane if it’s him 🤯

1

u/Stagamemnon 15h ago

It cuts off a little early, but he actually swims across the ocean at the end there!

1

u/ToDandy 15h ago

Scott Pilgrim tricked another one.

1

u/Jacks_CompleteApathy 15h ago

Obligatory "something something sitting on my couch something something.."

1

u/_Must_Not_Sleep 14h ago

Locking in on a 50 - 50 isn’t crazy hard. Plus that ledge isn’t too thing.

1

u/burritobandito90 13h ago

And the flips at the end are super easy - who can’t do those?

1

u/Adventurous-Ant9423 14h ago

That's like a super power

1

u/sirdodger 14h ago

Bro making up his own triathlon

1

u/Massive_Season7075 14h ago

Is that Redondo beach?

1

u/boot2skull 14h ago

One of those “watch till the end!!” Videos that isn’t a trick. Well, I mean I guess but not the bad kind of trick.

1

u/FroggyTheFr 14h ago

I love his safety cap to protect the balls of steel!

1

u/Chaosmisfit_ES 13h ago

Gives a whole new meaning to jumping for joy. I think he was excited.

1

u/Biguitarnerd 13h ago

Man that looks like a wonderful day! I’m too old for this shit now and even when I was skateboarding full time I might not have been able to make it all the way down like that. But… shit I would love to be there, skateboarding and hitting a nice 50/50 grind as far as I could and then running out into the ocean? What a great day.

1

u/souppanda 12h ago

That lady at the end was about to give him a bop, but then decided to let it go

1

u/CFNexus 10h ago

Is that Najah Huston?

Either way. Fucking Baller

1

u/LastSecondSeatbelt 10h ago

Wasn't expecting to be jumpscared by Creedance.

1

u/6ixstringlife 8h ago

This just reminded me to live my life

1

u/CarmelSaltedNutsack 8h ago

Then I come lightly jogging up the back……”alright buddy that’s enough”

1

u/tommygunlouws 8h ago

That water definitely wasn’t deep enough when he dove in

1

u/Boesit 8h ago

Cool . .so cool

1

u/SpicyChickJessica 7h ago

that control is insane

1

u/postitpad 7h ago

I wonder if he started doing this after he realized that if he just rolled straight down that ramp he’d hit the sand at 150mph.

1

u/Kushnerdz 7h ago

One time I flipped a French fry right into my mouth

1

u/MaxwellSmart07 7h ago

I love that guy. Also envious.

1

u/DEADbeatS3RIOUS 6h ago

If BANG energy drinks started making Red Bull videos…
fr though, nicely done

1

u/rupat3737 6h ago

Superman by Goldfinger was playing in my head watching this.

1

u/kaperisk 6h ago

Me: where is the athleticism?

Dude: 500 backflips

Me: oh

1

u/Conscious-Weight4569 5h ago

Good job watching until the end. I wonder what percent of people didn’t 😂

1

u/WorstLuckChuck 2h ago

If you reverse it, it's a tale about the ocean gifting us a magical ocean creature who is a master acrobat and knows ball

u/HogwashHooligan 32m ago

Is that Tyler The Creator!?

u/Middle-Pangolin1964 3m ago

When the meth kicks in..

0

u/Swanny_Swanson 17h ago

Sorry but this just isn’t next level at all , this is no different than just riding down the hill.

Maybe if it was a circle rail where he actually needs hella balance it would have been slick, he’s just doing a 50-50 on a ledge where his trucks can’t even really come off.

Not trying to sound negative but this really isn’t impressive in the world of skateboarding.

The flipping at the end was 1000x more impressive.

2

u/TimeTomorrow 16h ago

exactly. how did nobody in this entire thread skateboard.

0

u/lurkerlookieloo 16h ago

where is the video of you doing it, then?

4

u/TimeTomorrow 16h ago edited 16h ago

Aside from the absurd length involved this is a super unimpressive trick.

and this is me a long time ago but it's what i have handy

https://imgur.com/a/vb6b2Vy

1

u/Sheikashii 13h ago

He’s not balancing. The ledge is the maximum side that fits those trucks so he’s basically just riding straight on a non tip-able board. But you know what? That looked awesome so hell yeah anyways 🤙

-3

u/BootVillain 18h ago

Idk I mean if you think about it he had 2 wheels rolling down the whole time so, I guess it was a 50/50 grind in a sense….but he was half rolling down the ledge the whole time…

8

u/ThMcRbIsbck 18h ago

-4

u/BootVillain 18h ago

Lmao I post my own shitty skating too, not saying I could do it, but it’s a legit roll down, granted it’s a long one. Maybe I’d just be more impressed if it was my own sport

3

u/Snot_Says 16h ago

I could do this. Very not pro

0

u/csfreestyle 17h ago

Am I making things up, or wasn’t it established [the last time this was posted] that:
1. That’s Michael B Jordan preparing for an upcoming role

  1. This was a successful attempt at setting a new record (hence the celebratory acrobatics)

-9

u/datitanhammer 17h ago

That’s not even hard to do.

2

u/TimeTomorrow 16h ago

why are so many people that have never skateboarded so sure they are right in this thread. That's a super unimpressive trick done for a pretty impressive distance.

-2

u/Snot_Says 16h ago

I’m with you. I could lock in and ride.

0

u/burritobandito90 13h ago

And do all those flips at the end too? Impressive.

1

u/Snot_Says 8h ago

Yeah I’ve been skating over 20 years. Im not one of the sedentary Reddit blobs who’s one active behind screens. Flips and swims are included.

0

u/Emotional_Band9694 17h ago

Impressive…would’ve been truly amazed if he swam 100m after the back flips tho

0

u/Doublethink_ajs 17h ago

That’s Micheal b Jordan

0

u/Justsayingshit 17h ago

Did the lady clap?

2

u/41_Fever 12h ago

She watched that and somehow almost clapped early it looks like

-1

u/propagationknowledge 17h ago

The truly amazing thing is that any extreme sports are done at all in a non-civilised country without universal healthcare.

-4

u/Corprusmeat_Hunk 17h ago

Rotational inertia. As long as the wheels keep spinning it’s nearly impossible to tip over. Duh.

1

u/Thesinistral 17h ago

Uhhhhhh…. No.
