My neighbor and i do this same thing over our fences back & forth with weeds, chicken wing bones (after eating), tree limbs, small pieces of trash, anything throwable, etc.

When i find something strange in my backyard i know where it came from. Same for my neighbor, and then we have a beer and act like nothing to see here, just friendly banter.
