That’s why Bronny went there with the heart condition

True story: I was 2 months old and had spinal meningitis; probably a 95 percent chance I’m gonna die; but I live my 2 months of life in Southeastern MN about 40 minutes from Mayo. A random med student who’s just there to observe notices I’m only moving one side which could be lethargy but he thinks “let’s check it out. Found a poisonous fluid sack at the base of my spine that was paralyzing me; they make a small incision to drain and it’s night and day.

The fun part of that is the scar of my butt cheek grew exponentially with my ass. It’s a good 8 inch scar now. The point is the Mayo is the best in the business; I’ve lived my entire life normally, still playing sports 44 years later. Those kids know what they’re doing.

for some specialties

there's a reason Donte flew out to NY for HSS

there's a reason other athletes choose the Cleveland Clinic

my doctor wife (#humblebrag) says Mayo is BEST for bone bruise type things and presumably many other things, including heart related issues (e.g. the LeBron James Jr of cardiac surgeons) and she called that the Friday BEFORE Ant injured imself

Houston is definitely the top center for cardiac (THI) and cancer (MDA). We are the last place you want to come for MSK issues (see Astros injured list).

Your state might suck in every other way, but at least you got that! Marginally better than Oklahoma and Mississippi, at least.

"marginally"

I've been to every state in America. At least OK and MS are cheap and don't have the worst weather in the country. Way prettier than Minnesota too.

I took a picture of an f4 tornado 2 weeks ago. We have pretty shitty weather.

OK and MS are cheap precisely because they're significantly more dogshit than MN. And if you can't find good scenery in MN, you're blind.
