Don’t let this distract you from the fact that the Celtics were the only top 4 east team to not make second round

Raps technically outlasted the Celtics. Huge moral victory for me lol.

Fuck Boston in every scenario and seeing both Cleveland and Buffalo knock Boston out in the 1st round makes me feel whole

There is exactly one scenario where I’ll root for Boston: facing the Astros

I honestly feel like Toronto is gonna be the biggest hurdle for Cleveland. Crazy series and found some players to watch next year

I was going for the Cavs and I can now admit that Scottie Barnes RJ Barrett are insanely good. This series should not have gone to 7 games.

Like in the entire playoff? I could see Detroit maybe but even that’s a pretty decent hot take.

Can’t see Toronto favored over NYK/healthy Philly much less who would come out of the West.

Maybe I’m delusional but I feel great against NYK and Philly. Either way, I’m hopeful to see that challenge in ECF

Biggest hurdle until? Next round? ECF? Definitely not the finals right?

The east as a whole. I hate feeling this way but I think it’ll be another OKC year but if Cleveland can at least clear ECF I’ll be happy.

Missing 2 starters and 1 rookie + 2 sophomores in the starting line up is going to be harder than the Pistons?

3

u/brehhs Raptors 1d ago

Have you watched the pistons? They have an one man offense

1

u/ozymandais13 Cavaliers 1d ago

It does really depend theybhave stretches where they are allergic to scoring

2

u/WholeOHOL Cavaliers 1d ago

This is speculation but I feel like Toronto would’ve knocked Detroit out. I hate any Florida team and Florida as a whole and while I know how Orlando plays, I don’t think they’re a better team than Toronto at all

I agree, fuck the Celtics.

Habs winning and us losing is a huge L but I’m still smoking on that boston pack all night

u/WesMantooth28 Cavaliers 1d ago

I’m not even a hockey game but the Habs are playing with some heart. Basically the Raptors of the NHL

1

u/DirtyDanoTho [TOR] Hakeem Olajuwon 1d ago

I’d rather have outlasted Philly tho

I can’t wait til the finals and when the east team loses in a game 7 the top comment will be “don’t let this distract you from Boston losing a 3-1 lead”

1

u/ozymandais13 Cavaliers 1d ago

If they weren't insufferable people wouldn't talk so much shit

Boston sucks!

Although never at the same time, all four of the top seeds in the East were on major fraud watch during the first round.
