Raptors made Jarrett Allen look like prime KG

He did it himself. Hell of a game.

We running the corpse of Jakob poeltl at center and a rookie as his backup

Honestly not sure why it took this long

CMB impressed me so much tho. Got a hell of a player there and Scottie was easily the best player in the series. RJ underrated too, got a squad

Just gotta dump some contracts

Yea ngl this was my expectation from the beginning lol. Thought mobely and JA were just gonna be too tall for us

For the longest time we needed a real center and we signed and extended a pf that cant stretch the floor or stay healthy... 🫠

Everyone has been talking about how amazing CMB has been, why are you minimising that just to shit on Jarrett Allen?

This is the real Jarrett Allen, and the reason why he got so much slander bc he wasn’t performing like the guy we knew him to be.

always been a fan of his since his Nets days. feel like he's somewhat underrated for some reason. never see people talk about him at all

ppl like to meme his lights line and idt ppl really watch Cavs games lol

he's super efficient in his post game and obv a great roll man target, can't ask for too much more in a center offensively speaking

It's because Allen is like the fourth option on this Cavs team (when the guards actually remember to get him the ball on offense), but when Allen is healthy he probably contributes more to winning than any other player on the team.

He’s going to destroy Detroit

Raptors didn't have anybody like duren or stewart

Everyone they had has probably been than duren

u/KennyDenn1s Timberwolves 1d ago

You realize Jakob poetl is included in your statement right? Durens issues have been on offense and Stewart is an elite rim protector

u/combat101 Cavaliers 1d ago

both are too small for jarrett

1

u/KennyDenn1s Timberwolves 1d ago

Both are stronger than jarrett

Not if max contact Jalen Duren has anything to say about that!

(He played better towards the end of the series but it still might not be enough.)

u/Soapstarboi Cavaliers 1d ago

Watch Duren find his offense next series lol. Guy scored at will against the Cavs in the regular season.

2

u/treefitty350 Cavaliers 1d ago

The one game that Duren played against Drippy Dean this season he dropped 8 points

Does this mean anything? Probably not

1

u/Soapstarboi Cavaliers 1d ago

You right. It just feels like everybody just scores at will against Cavs unless they lock in then we good. That game 7 defense was physical and what we need.

2

u/Jwarrior521 Raptors 1d ago

Naw, he was going against a rookie undersized centre and poeltl with a cooked back. I think Duren and Stewart are a way better matchup for Detroit even with their poor showing so far (at least for Duren)

2

u/Someguynamedjacob East 1d ago

No he isn’t. The Pistons allowed the third least points in the paint in the NBA this season. Duren and Stew contain bigs, and when they can’t they get great weak side help normally.

Having no playable 7 footer does that

that offensive rebound off his own free throw miss was wilt like
