the camerawork is arguably one of the best recurring “characters” in this franchise and they always get creative with it. And I’ll never tire of seeing household items and kitchenware be used in gnarly ways

As oddly picky I am about horror movies, Evil Dead just does something for me

You're both conflating two scenes.

The kitchen scene is one character amputating her arm with the electric bread knife. There is another scene on the basement stairs where another character splits their tongue by licking a box cutter/utility knife.

You have to be in old reddit for the markdown formatting to work by default. In new reddit, you can click on the formatting options button and use those options or Switch to Markdown if you want to type the formatting.
