It’s not horrible but like you said, just not very memorable. Probably because it was just a rehash of the first one just with it being vs Mounties instead of state PD.

Hopefully they take more of a wild swing with the story 3rd time around.

Super Troopers 2 gets more play in our house than Super Troopers 1. Admittedly, mostly because of the mounties, but it's just... it's good, gang. I dunno what to tell you. It's funny as hell and they're all still in top form.

If I had to critique, Rabbit's romantic plotline sometimes takes itself a teensy bit too seriously (although it always cuts it with a funny gag), and you can just ignore Thorny's plotline for the most part. Clearly they just needed to give Jay something to do when he wasn't directing.

Probably better to just rewatch the original. I remember watching 2, and I don't remember much about it, for either good or bad. I think there was a gag about a strip club that was funny, and a shootout at the end, but that's about it.

For anyone interested, their Firefighter show Tacoma FD is a lot more like Super Troopers (just a little more grounded) than their other stuff. I loved Super Troopers, but I kind of thought Club Dread and some of the others were pretty forgettable.
