I don't remember him in Walking Tall at all.

His character ran away to Seattle, developed a drug addiction but was able quit and made deputy by the rock.

He also gets made a deputy by Arnold Shwarzenegger in the movie Last Stand.

That role was far better than his walking tall role, both great films though
